Confirmed by m-78.jp, Ultraman X's theatrical film will premiere March 12th, 2016! Not much is known about the film except that series showrunner, Kiyotaka Taguchi, (Gehera: The Long Haired Monster) will direct the film.
The exciting poster shows Ultraman X in an armored variant of his Exceed form (supposedly called the "Beta Spark Armor") fighting a new, gruesome monster with a yet seen weapon. Rumors have been circulating that the original Ultraman and another Heisei Ultra warrior (likely Ultraman Tiga) will make appearances.

The critically acclaimed Ultraman X is currently finishing its run with four more episodes left that will include guest roles from Ultraman Cosmos and Nexus. The finale will air December 22nd and will also be directed by Taguchi. Ultraman X is being simulcast around the world by streaming site/app Crunchyroll. You can watch the first 18 episodes here.
What do you think of the upcoming Ultraman movie? Excited about what Taguchi has brought to the table? Again, the Ultraman X movie premieres March 12th, 2016!
