Following Crunchyroll's acquisition of Ultraman Nexus and Ultraman Gaia this year, Ultraman Ginga, and Ultraman Ginga S (think of it as a “season 2”) is now available on the streaming website.
The Ginga series introduced the polarizing “spark doll” concept, which ultimately saved the franchise and allowed it to continue. This very concept was also a heavy focus on last year's highly successful Ultraman X.
Ginga's availability to audiences outside Japan comes on the 50th Anniversary year of the original Ultraman. We hope to see more in the coming months.
You can check out Ginga and Ginga S here on Crunchyroll.
Also available on Crunchyroll is Ultraman Leo, 80, Gaia, Nexus, Max, Mebius and X.
