Star Wars

There really have been too many great Star Wars games to name them all, but a few of our favourites are Star Wars Fallen Order/ Jedi Survivor.
You follow Cal Kestis, a former jedi who’s remained in hiding since the fall of the Jedi order. As you’re found out to be a former jedi, you go through the games fighting off stormtroopers and the sith to learn more about your past and how to put an end to the empire. This game is very story driven, if you fancy just jumping into the world of Star Wars, then Battlefront two may be the way to go.
An arcade shooter, where you have the option to play in any era of Star Wars on either side, fighting on numerous maps, making it really feel like you’re in the battle of naboo!

You’ll travel through the galaxy looking to uncover the truths about your enemies and what the Halo rings really are. The original games recently received remasters in the Halo Master Chief collection, so if you’re looking to play them all start to finish, you’ll have them all in one place.
Starfield
One of the newer games on this list, Starfield is an open world adventure game where you go out exploring the stars, visiting different planets and completing different missions. In this open world game, you can basically play how you want to, complete missions at your own pace. Fancy taking your time and exploring before doing any missions? Or do you prefer to go straight into the missions and leave the exploring till last? Either is fine and you’ll have a blast either way. With numerous things to customise such as your ship and your outfit, it’s a great game to sink your teeth into.
Fallout
The fallout games became so successful they recently made a tv show adaptation of it. Set in a world where a nuclear war decimated America and people were forced to go into hiding in bunkers for hundreds of years. When you finally do come up to the surface, things aren’t what you expected and you have to learn about the new world, fighting off gangs who survived the blast but have been exposed to nuclear radiation. Fallout has a great few games with most notably Fallout 3, 4 and New Vegas.
Sci-Fi games have come a long way in recent years and are now arguably the best there ever was. That said, there are still definitely some Sci-Fi classics you need to try such as some of the ones on this list. Whilst it’s great to play the latest and newest games, sometimes, stepping back a few years to play the classics can be a real step down memory lane, and if you’ve never played them it’s a truly amazing experience.
