Some Inspirational Movies that Tick All the Boxes

No matter who your favorite actors or what you sort of movie you enjoy watching, you will find plenty of options to get your imagination going and make you really think. Some of the top picks are:

Dead Poet’s Society

Starring the late, great Robin Williams, this 1989 movie is all about finding your individuality, which is something many students struggle with when they are at college. Watching this film helps you to keep in mind the very reason you are learning at college to begin with – to improve yourself and help change the world for the better. This is a truly inspirational and moving film that received excellent reviews and continues to be a firm favorite with people from all walks of life.

Legally Blonde

Many might not think of this movie right away when considering inspiration movies. However, the 2001 movie tells the story of a teen who, despite her feelings of being inferior, manages to battle her demons and get into Harvard, one of the most notable colleges around. In fact, the movie even has a montage designed to demonstrate how hard work and determination can pay off for students when it comes to excelling in their education and succeeding in life.

Freedom Writers

Any student who experienced difficulties with studying earlier in life or had a hard time at high school can benefit from watching this movie. The story follows a young teacher who inspires her students to work hard and work toward improving their education and their lives. This is an excellent movie for those who have lost sight of their goals when at college.

Good Will Hunting

Last but not least, we have a hugely popular 1997 movie, Good Will Hunting. This movie could inspire students to look for hidden academic talents they may have. It is about a janitor at MIT who has an astonishing gift for mathematics and chemistry. However, he doesn’t realize what his potential is.

So, if you want the chance to relax and unwind but also to feel inspired, take a look at some of these great movies.
