Terminator 6 begins filming this summer, says Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Terminator 6 which will star both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton will begin filming this summer according to the T-800 himself! Schwarzenegger recently spoke with the folks over at TheArnoldFans and explained that production on the sixth Termimator sequel was delayed by several months - pushing their filming schedule back to June, 2018. He expects filming to last through to October, 2018:

We are starting to shoot Terminator 6 in June to the middle of October, so I am in that. I am looking forward to coming back as the T-800 model. It's gonna be great with Tim Miller as the director and Jim Cameron is kind of supervising the whole thing.

Deadpool director Tim Miller will be helming the project with James Cameron overseeing production. Little is known currently about the film's plot but we know it will act as more of a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day, essentially ignoring all of the more recent Terminator sequels, which Cameron was not involved with.

The last 3 Terminator installments failed to capture the essense of the first two films. With James Cameron back in control of the franchise, we may finally get a proper Terminator sequel fans can consider a worthy addition to the iconic timeline.
