Lets face it, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have always walked the fine line between suspended disbelief and outrageousness - four humanoid turtle ninjas, trained and reared by a humanoid rat, whom all live in the sewers, yet have electricity and frequently order pizzas, with a van and a blimp as their personal rides, a reporter and vigilante as best friends, with enemies incuding a walking, talking swiss army knife and a talking brain with plans of word domination from its evil fortress which resembes a huge golfball on caterpillar tracks.
