Paramount are giving Star Trek Beyond one hell of a marketing push, hoping to cash in on the franchise's 50th anniversary. Their latest endeavour? A new poster to help promote the film's IMAX release. A poster that blasts off into space.
Into Darkness grossed a solid $467 million back in 2013, and although Beyond is only predicted to earn $60 million in its opening weekend, it's still expected to be a strong success before the end of its run. Its budget is also only $150 million, which is considerably lower than Beyond's $185 million, which gives it a much stronger chance to break even.
The Enterprise flies again when Star Trek Beyond hits screen on July 22.
