One of the most highly acclaimed Super Sentai series is coming to North American home video! Gosei Sentai Dairanger, the 1993 Super Sentai series, will be released by Shout!Factory on DVD! Shout!Factory announced the same for Kyroyu Sentai Zyuranger at last year's Comic Con and released it this past February.
An eight thousand year old war is about to reignite between two ancient Chinese tribes: The Gorma and the Dai. When the Gorma Tribe attempts to conquer the modern world the mysterious Master Kaku recruits five Dai ancestors to combat them. They take control of ancient, mythical beasts and become the Dairangers.
Although the costumes from Dairanger were never officially adapted as a Power Rangers team, (Although they were seen in Power Rangers Super Megaforce) the mecha footage and Kibaranger costume (White Ranger) was adapted for Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers season 2.
No release date has been announced by Shout!Factory, but if Zyuranger is anything to go on we can expect the release early 2016.
