Shatterdome Atlanta is a Pacific Rim fan convention that's celebrating its second year this month and Scified's very own GMan (aka, Jack Hudgens) will be not only attending the convention, but also presenting his own panel! Throughout his presentation, GMan will be detailing the influences Tokusatsu had on Pacific Rim, specifically the 1960s films and Ishiro Honda's work. He will also be participating in a panel about the History of Giant Robots and another panel about Pacific Rim Character Backstories as well as Sequel Speculation!
Geoff Shaw, the artist of Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero will also be there! The con runs from June 13th - 14th. As well as presenting, Jack will be covering the other events and activites at the convention too, so be sure to follow @GMANeonScified on Twitter and keep a watchful eye on his own Scified Site, Scified Tokusatsu for his upcoming posts!
