The digital series Halo: Nightfall that is being produced by none other than Ridley Scott has finally cast its leading lady.

The series’ director Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, who has directed episodes of Under the Dome & Heroes has cast Christina Chong (24: Live Another Day) in an unknown role in the upcoming series centred around the life of Master Chief. Chong’s other roles include W.E, Doctor Who & Johnny English Reborn.
Part of the upcoming Halo collection “The Master Chief Collection” released later this year on Xbox One, Halo: Nightfall’s plot includes the origin story of Agent Lock, who will also appear in Halo 5: Guardians which is set to be released in 2015.

Nightfall will be separate from the upcoming Halo TV series which is being produced by Steven Spielberg and rumoured to be aired on Showtime in 2015.
