X-Files stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have both taken to their social network accounts to announce that production on the all new six episode sreies of the X-Files has begun. Unfortunately no other information has been released, though it has been previously confirmed that filming is taking place in Vancouver, Canada, as were many of the earlier episodes in the long running, multiple award winning show.

About the X-Files reboot
Ryan Coogler (Sinners, Black Panther, Creed) is rebooting The X-Files for Disney and 20th Century Studios. While specifics about the reboot remain shrouded in secrecy, it's rumored that David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) will be making a return and reprising their iconic roles for the new series.
