Whether you are a fan of Michael Bay's Transformers movies or not there is no denying their appeal to the young and young at heart. Each movie in the franchise has been a summer blockbuster, and Transformers: Age of Extinction, which hits theatres next Friday, is virtually guaranteed to continue in the same vein as its predecessors. We already know from a previous news article detailing Hasbros schedule that a sequel is a given and is planned for some time in 2016. Now film studio Paramount Pictures have confirmed via THR that the sequel will in fact be released in 2016, but a precise date was not announced, though we suspect it will be another summer release.
