A new TV Spot for the controversial Terminator Genisys as been released, which together with a few recent ones that slipped past us do offer snippets of new footage, but unfortunately don't actually reveal anything we don't already know. However we notice there is still no footage of former Doctor Who Matt Smith. It seem as though Paramount Pictures are keeping his characters identity beyond top secret. Speculation amongst fans however is divided between two possibilities...
The first being that the British actor is portraying a physical embodiment of Skynet, which while interesting within itself only seeds confusion, with the only (out of focus) footage so far showing Smith dressing in a resistance uniform (pictured above). The second, more intriguing theory from the fans is that Smith could be portraying the 'real' John Connor, with Jason Clarke portraying a decoy that is 'converted' into the new movies new villain the T-3000.
