Long term fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who will now be adults most likely with children of their own, want to see a rose-tinted spectacle of their chidhood memories. That ain't gonna happen. The Turtles, like any property aimed at children has to evolve with the times to stay current to its target audience. In the late 80's the Turtles were amidst skateboards and walkmans, todays chidren are all about wheelies and iPods; hell, back in the 80's there were NO mobile/cell phones, whereas today everyone has them and they can do almost anything media wise. We, the aging fans whom remember the brothers original incarnation simply have to evolve with the times, and stop being grumpy old men/women.
