A new, squad based Starship Troopers shooter game has officially been announced by developer Offworld Industries! Titled Starship Troopers: Extermination, the game will pit squads of players against hordes of alien bugs - in true Starship Troopers fashion.
The game will rely heavily on teamwork amongst players to build bases and defend them against the onslaught of bug attacks. Limited to a squad of 4, players will get to choose between 3 unit classes; assault, support and defense - each coming with a unique set of traits and skills crucial to completing mission objectives.
The game is set to launch on Steam's Early Access program next year but in the meantime you can check out the announcement trailer below:
