The plot outline for Terminator Genisys is as follows: Kyle Reese (Courtney) is sent back in time to save Sarah Connor (Clarke) and prevent the machines of Skynet from taking over. He finds her and an aging "Guardian" Terminator (Schwarzenegger) already waiting for battle.
