Ever since the launch of the first movie of the MCU; 2008's Iron Man, Marvel Studios have maintained a certain visual style with their poster one-sheets and DVD/Blu-Ray covers, a style that somehwhat emulates the designs used for the more recent Star Wars (Episodes I-III) movie posters and home media covers... The main character(s) stand in the centre in a heroic pose, surrounded by promonotional shots of the movies supporting characters and themes (Iron Man 3's Iron Legion, Avengers: Age of Ultrons robotic army etc). But this should really come as no surprise considering that Disney now own both Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm.
