Naomi Harris is currently in talks to play the villainous role of Shriek in Andy Serkis' Venom 2 starring Tom Hardy! In the comics, Shriek was also Carnage's romantic love interest. Woody Harrelson (Zombieland 2) will be playing the role of Cletus Kasady who becomes Carnage, so we will likely see Harris and Harrelson team up as Shriek and Carnage to take on Tom Hardy's Venom in the next film!
Shriek is a dangerous and criminally insane villainess with the ability to manipulate sound. Shriek debuted at the start of the Maximum Carnage crossover. During Carnage's violent escape from the Ravencroft mental institution, he came across Shriek, who was also incarcerated and wished to join him.
Sony are currently eyeing an October 2020 release date for Venom 2, however an exact date has yet to be revealed.
