Production is expected to begin next summer on Rampage, a movie adaptation of the popular 80's arcade game developed by Midway in which the player controlled one of three kaiju (George the Gorilla, Lizzie The Lizard and Ralph the Wolf) with the goal of each level being to demolish the local buildngs and structures for points. In all honesty the game wasn't even all that good, suffering from poor animation and poor gameplay, yet for reasons unknown players could often be found mashing the buttons in a wanton blaze of destruction.

The movie will be produced for New Line Cinema by Richard Brener, Michael Disco and Sam Brown, along with Beau Flynn (FlynnPictureCo.) and John Rickard (Rickard Pictures). The script is being penned by Ryan Eagle with former WWE campion and rising action star Dwayne Johnson already attached to star.
