Project Hail Mary is an upcoming 2026 science fiction movie starring Ryan Gosling who plays a Molecular Biology teacher named Grace. Set in the not-to-distant future, the film which is adapted from Any Wier's popular novel of the same name, sees Gosling's character discover and befriend a strange alien entity while trying to find a way to save planet Earth from annihilation due to the Sun dying. Coincidentally, the alien he discovers and nicknames Rocky is also trying to do the same for their planet and the two beings form an alliance, working together to try and find a way to survive the impending doom of the soon-to-be collapsed star. Amazon's MGM Studios have dropped a new trailer for the film, which you can see below:
