For gamers, the weekend is a time for fun, non-stop action, and maybe a little relaxation in-between. But, let’s be honest, it’s mainly about the fun and action.

Now, whether you’re a PlayStation loyalist or a PC gaming fanatic, you probably want this weekend to be an awesome one, which is why this guide is here to help you.

Grab a drink, sit back, and read carefully, because you won’t want to miss a detail.

Let’s start.

Watch the Premier League

Naturally, a lot of gamers are fans of sports. In the UK especially, gamers love football.

At the top of the global footballing pyramid is the Premier League. Without a doubt, the Premier League is the best in the world – nobody is going to argue with that.

That’s why – this weekend – it’s a great idea to tune in and watch some Premier League action. Browse now to learn more.

Go on a shopping spree for new games

Through this year, some amazing games have dropped, from Resident Evil Village to FIFA 22. If you’ve been busy, though, you might not have had the chance to buy these games. So, this weekend is the perfect time to head out and treat yourself to a couple of fresh titles that you’ve been wanting to buy. If no games on the market currently interest you, you could sit back and wait patiently for these upcoming winter games to release.

Tune into eSports events

On most weekends, some eSports and Twitch events take place that you can stream from home. To learn more about these events, click here

eSports tournaments are a lot of fun to watch, as the teams usually consist of the best gamers around. Plus, there are tournaments for almost every game imaginable, from Fortnite to Grand Theft Auto 5.

Game all weekend

Sometimes, the best weekends are the ones spent gaming all day, every day. You can get comfortable, stack up on drinks and snacks, and game until you get tired. Just remember to take breaks in-between and stay hydrated, as gaming for too long without moving can harm your health!

If you’re a PS5 fan, here are some of the best PS5 games you can play right now. You can get these games from the PS store or physical stores, such as GAME.

Record content for YouTube

A lot of people play video games at the weekend just for fun – and that’s fine. However, some people play so that they can record content and upload it to YouTube. The reasons for this are because it’s a fun hobby and you can make money from it (providing you get a lot of views, of course).

As you might already know, you can’t record content without a capture card. Once you have a capture card ready and installed, you’ll be able to gather all your content into a single place, which you can then edit after you’ve finished. During the weekend, you can edit the content until it’s ready for upload.
