Hans Zimmer To Score Batman vs Superman!

Hans Zimmer has gradually become one of Hollywoods best known movie score composers. In the 1980's he started out co-composing many times with Stanley Myers. But in 1988 the winds of change started Zimmer down the road to success when he composed the score solo for that years hit movie Rain Man. Zimmer went from strength to strength throughout the 1990's composing scores for movies such as Days of Thunder, Backdraft, Thelma & Louise, True Romance, The Lion King, Crimson Tide and The Rock. But it was with the dawn of a new millenium that Zimmer became one of the most wanted composers in hollywood, with scores for movies like Ridley Scotts Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and Hannibal, Disney's Pirates of the Carribean franchise, and of course his work with Christopher Nolan on Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy and the forthcoming Interstellar.

After composing last years reboot of the Superman Cinematic Universe - Zack Snyders Man of Steel, the composer has confirmed to Digital Spy that he will return to working with Snyder and score the sequel...

"We've already had a couple of chats, and once I finish the movie that I shall not talk about I will probably head over to where Zack is shooting his movie and just hang out a bit and see if we can come up with any ideas,"

Though the composer did air concerns that he doesn't want to repeat the score from Nolan's dark Knight Trilogy...

"That's my problem, that's my dilemma. I don't want to betray, if that's the right word, the Dark Knight movies. That was Christian, it was Christian's role. It's not just that it was nine years of our lives, so you want to stay honest and honourable to that period. So it's really about, 'Is there something else I can find that I haven't tapped into?' Which I don't know until I sit down with Zack."
