Running for only fifteen seconds, the new promo for the revival season of the X-Files doesn't really show much, but what it does show will excite fans. Of course, the promo features similar footage to that which was shown at the end of Fox's 201 days of the X-Files promo, showing stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson searching a dark room, but it's the newer footage in the new promo that will excite fans...
With what looks like a turbine engined UFO, a platoon of men dressed in early 20th century military attire, Fox Mulders 'I Want To Believe' poster and a trademark X-Files bizzare medical procedure it looks as though the long running shows return could be hitting all of the right notes and looks set to bring back the magic and mystery that made the series so well loved before its latter, less suspenseful series'.

Ryan Coogler (Sinners, Black Panther, Creed) is rebooting The X-Files for Disney and 20th Century Studios. While specifics about the reboot remain shrouded in secrecy, it's rumored that David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) will be making a return and reprising their iconic roles for the new series.
