In the third and final trailer showcasing the gameplay players can enjoy in next years Batman: Arkham Knight we are shown some amazing cinematics and some equally amazing previews of the game series' widely reknowned combat system. By using a realitively simple button layout one could be forgiven for thinking that Arkham's combat system was a simple case of bashing buttons, but with timing and variation this deceptive system opens up to a plethora of possibilities that can become integral to the system, allowing players to vary their attacks while keeping that all important hit counter ticking away into triple figures.
Arkham Knights combat, as seen in the trailer above, promises to be the most diverse and challenging iteration of the system yet, with added connectivity and variety to environmental, stealth, predator and gadget attacks. Its just a shame that the series, which was born on, and enjoyed worldwide success on the current generation of console will only make its final outing on the new, next-generation machines.
