Fallout series debuts Area 51 alien discovery, a nod to Fallout 3 & 4!

The Fallout series sees the Brotherhood of Steel set up a base at what's left of Area 51 – and yes, they find aliens!

In the second episode of Fallout season 2, the Brotherhood of Steel unearthed and set up a base at what was once the military installation, Area 51. Upon entering the abandoned facility, members of the B.O.S. uncover a remarkable discovery – a real ice box! Ironically, the frozen alien housed inside did not elicit any reaction or attention. The scene is a heavy nod to both Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta DLC and Fallout 4. In the Fallout 3 DLC, players are abducted and must find their way off an alien spacecraft. In Fallout 4, playerd will catch a glimpse of a UFO is crashing to Earth. Following a trail of smoke leads you to the crashed UFO wreckage. From there, you can track a trail of green blood to a nearby cave where a hostile little green alien attacks you. The design of the alien frozen in the series very closely reassembles the aliens from the games:

Hilariously, the Brotherhood of Steel seem unphased by the extraterrestrial and are far more interested in the ice box. Beyond the subtle cameo, there is no other talk or reference to aliens so far.
