Season 2 of Fallout officially concluded on Prime Video last night with a thunderous and satisfying crescendo! The series brilliantly tied up some loose ends while simultaneously leaving plenty of cliffhangers on the table. Thankfully, a third season is already in the works and Amazon are keeping their foot on the gas to churn out the next season quickly. While the finale of season 2 dropped a plethora of callbacks, a tease of the Enclave and the resurgence of the NCR, Vault Dwellers who stayed past the credits were gifted with an exciting post-credit scene which teased the inclusion of the franchise's most badass robot - Liberty Prime!

Who or what is Libery Prime?
For those who may not have played the games or know much about Liberty Prime, we've got you covered.
Liberty Prime is the ultimate anti-communism machine, developed by the United States government this towering metal behemoth stands 40 feet tall, making it one of the largest entities in the Wasteland. Powered by Nuclear Fusion, Liberty Prime's only directive is to destroy all traces of communism and its armed to the teeth with nukes.
Developed before the great war by General Atomics International and the U.S. Government, Liberty Prime was technically never finished by the time the bombs fell, leaving the remnants of this war machine unstable.

Liberty Prime in Fallout 3
In terms of game lore, Liberty Prime was discovered and restored by the Brotherhood of Steel using Project Purity's reactor and advanced Brotherhood technology. Once activated, Liberty Prime became the Brotherhood's ultimate weapon against the Enclave. While an absolute menace in battle, making short work of most adversaries, it was the Enclave Orbital weapon that eventually took him down.
Liberty Prime in Fallout 4
In Fallout 4, Liberty Prime is found, rebuilt and upgraded again by the Brotherhood of Steel, this time led by Elder Maxson. This time, the Brotherhood use Liberty Prime to take on The Institute in Boston. Liberty's fate is ultimately left up to the player's choice in the game, with one outcome leaving Liberty operational and the other seeing his demise once again.
What this means for Fallout season 3
It's clear the series is setting up for a massive war between the Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave, much like in the games. While smaller factions and Wasteland dynamics shift and scatter, the real battles are going to be fought with those controlling the game – the Enclave. Season 2 dropped a number of clues, revealing how the surface is the real testing ground, not the Vaults and how the Enclave are monitoring everything and everyone. They are the global elites, the puppeteers pulling strings behind governments, controlling the trajectory of life on Earth as we know it.
Fallout season 3 is bound to exploit the Enclave conspiracies in greater detail, exposing more of their sinister plans and ultimately set up for a massive war.
