Drew Struzans work has been used to promote some of the biggest and most successful movies in Hollywood having painted over 150 movie posters over 40 years. The American artists work has been used to promote each and every episode of the Star Wars Saga to date, so when news hit a while back that he would be returning to paint posters for the Episode VII it really came as no surprise to fans.

This weekend Disney are holding the D23 expo at the Anaheim Convention Centre in California, in which they will be promoting their many upcoming projects. Revealed yesterday the above poster was believed to be an official poster for the forthcoming seventh instalment, but reportedly artist Struzan painted this poster especially for the expo as a promo poster and is developing another poster for the movies release.
