Following his awesome debut appearance as Black Panther in this spring's Captain America: Civil War fans and audiences at this weekends SDCC were keen for more of Chadwick Boseman's superhero. The star was joined on stage by his fellow cast members Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira and Michael B. Jordan who have been confirmed to be portraying Nakia, Okoye (head of the Dora Milaje) and Erik Killmonger, respectively. This news confirms Jordan as the movie's villain, the comic version of which is pictured below.
Black Panthers director Ryan Coogler was also in attendance and confirmed that the movie will begin filming in January of 2017.
"I'm a big comic book fan. In 2009, I went to my first Comic-Con and I sat way, way, way back there, so this is absolutely crazy to be looking at my people from this view. We're working crazy hard on the script right now."
