Ben Affleck now unlikely to play Batman in Matt Reeve's 'The Batman' movie!

That's a bad call, you can't write off a continuity fuck up like that

Not unless the Flashpoint movie basically reboots everyone. And even if they don't use Flashpoint as an excuse, recasting happens all the time. Kilmer replaced Keaton in Batman Forever. Rufflo replaced Norton as the Hulk. This is by-the numbers at this point.

Hopefully the new guy is as good if not better than Affleck.

I think they they should focus on a Batman Beyond live action movie. That way They can keep Ben.. and then have a successor take his place. If there is one thing I hate.. it's replacement actors. At least Nolan kept Christian on for all three movies. Unlike the first Batman movies that had 3 different actors playing out the same character for a "continuous" story line. That to me.. is so bogus. Same with the Hulk.. 3 different actors for the same character. That would have been like Downey Jr being replaced by Ron Pealman or some other actor who wont do the role justice. I personally thought Norton was the best Hulk.

As for Batman.. I thought that Scott Adkins would have been a perfect fit for the role.. due to his excellent martial art ability.. and he can act too. He looks like a dashing billionaire playboy to boot.
