Promotional images for the live action Attack on Titan have finally surfaced. Based on the manga/anime of the same name, these images feature Eren Yeager (Haruma Miura), Mikasa Ackerman (Kiko Mizuhara), Sasha Blouse (Nanami Sakuraba), Jean Kirstein (Takahiro Miura), Hange Zoë (Satomi Ishihara) and Armin Arlert (Kanata Hongo). The film is being directed by Shinji Higuchi, best known as the special effects director for the Gamera Trilogy. He recently directed remakes of Japan Sinks and The Hidden Fortress, as well as episodes of MM9. (Monster Magnitude 9) Higuchi will also be overseeing the special effects for Attack on Titan. The film's script was written by Yusuke Watanabe who previously wrote Gantz and Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods.
Attack on Titan will be released in Japanese theaters, Summer 2015.
