With the new adaptation of Stephen Kings IT enjoying huge success in the theaters any news relating to the director of the movie, Andy Muschietti is making headlines. One small snippet of news that comes from Deadline is that the co-writer of this year's Wonder Woman Jason Fuchs has signed onto to write, from scratch the script for Muschietti's live-action adaptation of Robotech, a cartoon TV show from Harmony Gold USA and Japan's Tatsunoko Productions, in which humans have developed large mecha's from alien technology which are capable of 'transforming' into formidable aircraft. The Robotech movie is reportedly in development with Muschietti's sister and creative partner Barbara Muschietti, Mark Canton (300), Gianni Nunnari, David Hopwood and Shannon Gaulding attached as producers on the movie of which studio Sony Pictures are hoping will perform more favorably at the box office than the studio's releases of recent years.
