Pacific Rim 2 director Steven DeKnight is currently in Australia working on the Pacific Rrim sequel. Casting is heating up with yesterday's announcement of Jing Tian joining the Jaeger vs. Kaiju blockbuster re-match and the hype continues today as DeKnight has revealed where in Australia Pacific Rim 2 will be filming and just how much of the film will be shot there.
Answering one fan on Twitter, DeKnight revealed that a fine chunk of the Pacific Rim sequel would be filmed in both Sydney and Brisbane, Australia!
