Most of us remember Star Wars: Battlefront 2 as one of the most enjoyable and most playable Star Wars games, ever. Back in 2008 a third installment in the Battlefront series was being developed before its unfortunate cancellation. Instead, EA and Dice produced a new game under the same name, which released to mixed reviews among gamers who were expecting an experience similar to Battlefront 2.
Below is new footage from the game from when it was in its apha stage of development. Prior to this, we had seen leaked photos and some footage of the game, however this is the first time we get to see someone actually playing through the various game modes and levels.
It certainly looks like this game would have satisfied our cravings for a new Battlefront, with a new campaign, new levels, planets and space battles. The game looked quite epic. It's unfortunate to know we'll never see this game released.
