Signs is an incredibly intense film, with some heartstopping moments. But a few quite large plotholes stop me from giving it a perfect grade. The child actors are by no means top notch, the special effects are only okay and the ending of the film is ludicrous.
Despite the flaws, the movie is still very enjoyable, with the intensity of it all making some of the less clap-worthy parts of the story less important. Overall, it's entertaining, but not spectacular.
