Alien Covenant takes place in Lv426, i understand the terrain differences between the 2 movies, both movies is giving u a hint, extreme weather and the Alien ship, years after years, there will be gelogical changes due to extreme weather and climate, the planet is aging too. Aliens 1986, u wont see any forrest, in which it makes perfect sense. And in Alien Covenant, u will see Alien eggs, but WHO is laying the eggs, is gotta be something big>>>>the queen!!! In which.....u saw the alien queen in the 1986 sequel, that answered the questions. But u wont see the queen in Alien Covenant!!!
