Jurassic Park, a true classic film involving Dinosaurs being brought back to life while telling the audience, "HEY, Don't make things like Dinosaurs other wise bad things happen." Well I think of that as a nutshell, I don't know about you, but regardless the movie was amazing and still is. It spawned 2 sequels afterwards and majority of the fans hated them, me I was actually fine of The Lost World, even the part about Jeff Goldblume character's daughter being African American, but later in life did start to poke holes at that. But everyone knows that III was horible. Well years pass and the thoughts of seeing another Jurassic Park movie was thought to be lost, until we got confirmation on Jurassic World and then get all spastic from the first trailer. So how did this brand new sequel do compared to the others, DOING IT RIGHT, THAT'S WHAT!!!
I guess I got a little hyper there but I stand by when I say "Jurassic World is a very good movie and a well long awaited sequel that Jurassic Park needed." The lore states that it ignores Lost World and III which I'm okay with even though that means San Francisco never happened. That also means yelling Ben and Eric in a Megaphone never happened either. Now when I freaked out and all capsed while putting three explanation marks at the end of "Doing it right, that's what," is, well exactly how it sounds. I get the movie might of had a touch of too much CGI and on one point I get that, but this is an age where CGI will become the dominant animation, Toho is starting to admit that, and even the crew of the original Jurassic Park knew that. But I'm not here to rant on if the CGI is bad or not because, really I don't think it's bad at all, just predictable. So what about the movie itself, like the story, well done. Though I'd be a bit in question on why would Hammond just give away rights to build another Dinosaur Park, however in terms of not doing another Lost World, I think the route taken here was the best bet which was to remake a new park and having it turn out successful until one major screw up were to happen later on. Although as I say that makes me think of which one, the creating a super intelligent reptile or an Aunt super fixated on work to practically ignore her two nephews. Seriously you know you screwed up at being the best Aunt in the world when your two nephews takes more of a liking to your old Boyfriend who happens to train Raptors. Okay actually I'd be part of that boat too but my poin remains that the Main Lady of the movie is super work crazy, but it works for all the needed bad things to happen. Okay maybe not all, I think Henry Wu and that fat guy probably did most of the screwing up but she played a part as well.
Well since we brought up Wu and Chubby McIwannamakeweaponizeddinosaurs time to talk about the main attraction of the film, Indominus Rex, whose name was called out twice in the film to be a tad ridiculous. So what's special about this Dino? Other than it's spliced with a lot of predators in the park as well as spliced with other various animals with the possible chance of Human being apart of that, Indominus is probably what Ken Watanabe would call the Alpha Predator in Jurassic World. I mean it's bigger than a T-Rex, communicates with Raptors, kills for sport, changes skin color, it is one deadly lizard that takes no prisoner. But if I were to be honest, I felt it focused a bit much on Indominus. I mean with all the destruction it was causing, I was hoping it would release other predatorial cages or something just to give us more Dinosaur carnage. On the other hand, this film had more victims than the original, but this still doesn't excuse the lack of the T-Rex. Oh she was in the movie, but she got far less screen time then Godzilla did in his Remake of 2014. But you still get plenty of dino carnage, and a lot of characters you want to get payback get payback. I won't spoil a thing but if you feel someone should get it, chances are they're gonna get it.
Is this a movie I can recommend, oh yeah without a doubt. This is no doubt a worthy sequel that Jurassic Park desperately needed all these years. It's kinda like the story of Starship Troopers, where the only good sequel was a fully CGI Animation, but even that movie far compares to Jurassic World. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you to check it out. This is the Jurassic Park sequel we waited to see for so long, there's no point to wait any longer. Well you know, until Jurassic World 2 shows up then I suppose you got a reason then, but still go watch this one.
