Jurassic World, the third sequel to the infamous Jurassic Park. Most movies that are the fourth or fifth sequels aren't usually good, they aren't usually sub-par. They are usually the worst movies you have ever seen.
Jurassic World is a rare exception. This movie was absolutely amazing!!! It moved along at a nice pace, not to slow as some movies can be.
Great storyline as well. Usually movie sequel storyline's are horrendous. Jurassic World's storyline was the complete opposite. The fact that the park was actually an amazing idea. And the hybrid Indominus Rex was a great plotpoint.
Indominus Rex, made a lot of people nervous when it is first announced. People feared for the series when it took that turn. Same with the trained Velociraptors. I myself was among those who were nervous. But as time progressed and trailers were shown, a lot of people's minds opened up to both possiblities. And after watching the movie, these ideas worked brilliantly.
But easily, the best part of the movie, was the return of Rexy, the original T. rex from Jurassic Park. While we only see her 20 minutes before the movie ends (even though we get a small glimpse of her in her enclosure eating) the footage we see of her is so epic!!!!
The movie was easily the better than The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III, even I thought those movies weren;t that bad (let the hate begin).
The last 20 minutes were so amazing I would paided full price just to see them again. The rest of the movie was great too.
The movie also did really well with the character development as well. They did amazing with Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), and well with the kids. But Lowery (Jake Johnson) was hysterical, one of the best characters in the film. Masrani and Hoskins, they did well with too. Hoskins being the villian was a good choice as well. And of course we can't not talk about the return of Dr. Wu.
Wu was the only returning character from the first movie. He was also responsible for the creation of Indominus Rex. And there is no doubt he will not be in the sequel to Jurassic World. Especially the way they set it up.
Another one of the best scenes in Jurassic World was when they stumbled upon the original Visitors Center. I won't go into detail with this because I don't to spoil it for everyone, but I will tell you this, you will feel so much nostalgia.
Even though they didn't use animatronics much the CGI made up for it. They did a really good job with the CGI. It looked so real.
Alright, last thing I want to talk about. The thing all Jurassic Park fans wanted for this movie. The infamous Mosasaurus. This was a great part in the film, something I myself have wanted to see for a long time.
If you haven't seen the movie by now, you have to see it!!! While not as good as the first one, it's pretty close!!!
