This film brought back most of the great things about the original film. Most of the movie took place on Isla Nublar, so that's a good thing. :)
It had a very science-y feel, like the Gyrosphere and Innovation Center. They even added some humor into it! Also, the final battle was AMAZING! What's not to love about two giant dinosaurs slamming each other into buildings? Also, I loved seeing a wild raptor getting incinerated in a restaurant.
I wasn't a big fan of all the cutaways, but otherwise, it was awesome. The Mosasaurus being like an orca and leaping out of the water was definately unexpected.
