Overall a solid entry within the Monsterverse, with excellent action, and amazing portrayal of Kong and Jia. Speaking of Jia, Kaylee Hottle absolutely stole the show, with her acting being on-par with top tier actors. Godzilla was good in this movie as well, with his motives being clear: find and destroy Mechagodzilla. Mechagodzilla was brutal, flinging around a weakened Goji like he was nothing. The defeat of the mechanical tyrant had me cheering.
Is Godzilla vs Kong the best movie out there? Nope. But it's definitely one of my favorites.
