This isn't a bad movie. There a lot of fans who talk some serious smack about this film but it's actually pretty good. A guy steals a boat to find his brother, but he and his shipmates become shipwrecked on an island inhabited by a giant sea monster, ebirah, and a sleeping Godzilla. This movie was actually made for King Kong, but at the last second they replaced him with the big G. Mothra's in this movie as a side character, but only for a few minutes. The fight against ebirah is pretty entertaining with him and Godzilla playing volleyball at some point. This movie sadly includes the worst Godzilla fight in history against a giant bird creature. The fight is so fast and the camera is so shaky that you can't even see what's happening. Besides that, it's good, one of the best in the Showa series.
