I went through a period where I liked this movie, I then grew up and came to my senses. There's not much else I can say.
Plot- "During a nuclear test, the French government inadvertently mutates a lizard nest; years later, a giant lizard makes its way to New York City. Dr. Niko Tatopoulos, an expert on the effects of radiation on animals, is sent by the U.S. government to study the beast. When the creature, dubbed "Godzilla" by news outlets, emerges, a massive battle with the military begins. To make matters worse, Niko discovers that Godzilla has laid a nest of 200 eggs, which are ready to hatch." You know it's gonna be good when godzilla is called a lizard. At least godzilla destroying the boat was good. - 0.5/5
Characters- Unfunny brainiac who studies worms, Annoying, stereotypical Reporter, Random guy who almost got stepped on, and a Soldier or something. They mke me to want to see Zilla onscreen more. This movie absolutely decimated Maria Pitillo's career. - 1/5
Special Effects- The scenes in the city were watchable and realistic enough. My only problems were the scene where he disappeared underwater, and he felt strangely weightless at times. - 4/5
Godzilla- Normally this would be overall enjoyment, but I had to mention this. I personally like this design. I thought the dinosaurian pose was nice, he could have been bulkier but that's just me. I just don't want to watch Godzilla run away from the military and burp fire. Digging was a nice abilitie though. -2/5
Total - 1.5/10
Do yourself a favor, don't watch this, unless you want to know why it's hated.
