Not only just one of the best Godzilla films, but one of the best monster films ever made. Godzilla looks really intimidating and almost scary in black and white. The music is incredible and the movies build to Godzilla first showing up is amazing. The damage and deaths he's caused is felt and the movie will literally make you depressed in certain scenes. It really shows and captures the terror and horror of atomic testing with this film being the ultimate symbolism of it. I'd also just like to add that I love that both Godzilla and Serizawa die together. It shows both of them, Things who have suffered the consequences of war, dying together and letting everyone else continue on towards the future. Overall a fantastic movie and one I'd recommend to literally anyone.
