Masterpiece. By every artistic and theatrical measure, perfect. Most importantly, the deeper questions of our age are mirrored through the medium of Science Fiction to do what may be it's most important aspect; the ability to see who we are and we are going. The film does not, however, miss a beat preaching or pontificating on the underlying ethical questions the world now faces. It shows us, in a bold, relentless, and visual stunning manner we can't ignore. An IMPORTANT work, in every sense of why any artist, or writer, actor or singer ever steps up. And a heck of a ride.
