Petition to have Snuffleupagus officially indoctrinated into the Monsterverse! Lol
A snuffleupagus.
Some more concept art by Dane Hallett of the Offspring depicts its skin falling off and turning into a Xenomorph, just like Mike mentioned in the rough cut he saw.

The Alien 3 has a stunning design that exudes a brutal and primal nature, making it one of the most terrifying in the series. I like to imagine that this version, along with the original, has a closer connection to the Engineers, reflecting their bio-mechanical influence in its more savage and streamlined form.
Cool an Ultramorph, hopefully we see one one-day
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I would have love to see Big Chap running amok on the station
Yes I love It. I'm glad they returned to Cameron's era of ALIENS/ALIEN 3 it so Iconic
I like it but I also liked the one we got in the movie. Hmmm perhaps this could have been its adult form?
Beautiful artwork and he really nailed tone of the earlier Alien films. A bit of Hadley's Hope mixed with Fury 161, all in lovely retro-futurism. Wished we'd stay longer on Jackson's Star. Hopefully we'll get some deleted scenes.
My biggest disappointment is that not enough human characters had a personality.
Im pretty sure the reason the autopilot turns off is because of the damage to the cargo bay and then it was released and then it went back on because the whole reason it came off was gone. I’m not to sure if that’s the reason but that’s what I thought happened.
I was hoping there was a longer xenomorph stalking scene.

Sorry if its not that great of a design, but I've been working on one (its still WIP)
Its what I'd imagine the Offpsring would've looked like if its feeding wasn't interrupted by Rain, and if it managed to feast on Rain herself, since we see its tail growing more after consumption of Kay's blood and flesh

Loik Bihan: Good to see another member here, stick around.
When I was young, I watched the 1956 American version with my dad one day and loved Godzilla and then I started watching Godzilla on YouTube and have been a fan ever since.
Thanks, Chris. And sorry for the double post. I tried to edit to delete the second picture but I recieved an error message saying I'm not allowed to edit it.
Offspring trading cards, shared by Fede.
As I suspected on my first viewing, the Offspring has 6 digits.

@Loik Bihan, that is remarkably grotesque and bizarre - it's perfect! Haha, I especially like the Giger-aesthetics for the face and the semi-visible eye balls. Great addition, nice work!
Welcome to the forums as well!
I'm not sure if I like it but at least I tried

Dark Nebula: That's a lot better
It looks interesting, I like to see new versions of the monster. Welcome aboard if this is your first time here. Stick around
They have done two AVP's and never gotten it right, I doubt that they'll do it right this time. Do something else, what ever that would be.
Its too big to be a warbat and its skull is different
Man I really wanted ALIEN CRUCIBLE, wait I thought it was cancelled due to SEGA wanting to work on AVP 2010?
I'll fix your links, goutzizizi.
The engineer-likeliness is from the human DNA
Some more, this one by Col Price.

A very Neomorph-looking Offspring design.
A Xeno monster with long hair, LOL! I can't take it seriously.
Well thought out response. The_Foxcatcher! You raise a great point - the Engineer DNA being absent from the origin material. I hadn't considered this yet but now that you bring it up it does make the Offspring's Engineer like appearance all the more confusing.
I feel like the next film should revisit Prometheus and draw inspiration / direction from the concepts presented there. People can knock Ridley all they want (never understood why) but at least his concepts were coherent and flowed - open-ended sure, but not so convoluted they made no sense.
Ultramorph would've been sweet... that's one beast that continues to elude us. That and a film adaptation of a Praetorian.
The birth of an Engineer-Xenomorph Hybrid Baby was a flawed inclusion and felt like a desperate attempt to tie the film with Prometheus. Where the hell does an Engineer DNA come from?
The Black Goo does not contain Engineer DNA. It was originally manufactured by the Engineers on LV_223 as a bio-weapon, using the DNA of the Protomorph (the creature depicted on the mural). The Black Goo mutates infected hosts, imbuing them with the Protomorph's predatory attributes.
The Protomorph is the original creature with the same life cycle: Egg, Facehugger, Chestburster, Adult (as illustrated on the mural), and is the progenitor from which other creatures, like the Xenomorph, evolved. Every time a Facehugger impregnates a host, the resulting embryo adapts to the DNA of the host, carrying some of its characteristics—like the Runner in Alien 3 adapting to the DNA of a dog.
In Alien: Covenant, David used the same Black Goo to mutate cross-bred insect eggs, eventually creating the Xenomorph. The Black Goo also mutated fungi into spore-producing mushrooms, which impregnated hosts with Neomorph embryos.
And now, in Alien: Romulus, we have Rook deriving Black Goo from Facehugger blood, which then infects a pregnant woman, resulting in an Engineer Hybrid!
It's simply laughable—if not downright ridiculous!
I see it as a lost opportunity. A version of the Ultramorph (a concept designed for an early draft of Prometheus) or the adult version of the Deacon could have been far more consistent and logical, while still being terrifying and unique.
I might give this a try, I haven't uploaded any of my drawings here in years.
Also, thumbs up to the art by Sam Haglund.
Liking the old school art-style
