seriously it's so amazing to know that OffSpring is not CGI. I love this movie more and more
Finally watched Prey, Good movie!
Never mind I figured it out.
I would make some tweaks though to coincide with the Alien RPG.
Protomorph to Praetomorph. (Since Protomorph is now assigned to the Deacon/Trilobite linage)
Mutant to Anathemia/Abomination
Engineer (Ancient) to Engineer (Space Jockey)
The Alien Romulus Pathogen to the Z-01 Pathogen
Is there away to make that picture bigger?
Yeah, I think I would of had nightmares for real. Practical Effects FTW
Can you imagine how creepy it would've been to be on set with that! So much better than CGI.
lol good one, but seriously I didn't know that was practical effects since I'm so used to CGI for almost everything now days
Smooth forever.
Nope, they hired an actual alien. They wanted to find a really tall human for the role, but Fede is such a perfectionist so he insisted on hiring an actual alien.
(Dramatic sound effect)

Wait the Offspring is just a dude in a costume? I thought he was CGI monster!
As one reddit user posted:
"In space no one can hear the banjos"
I kinda agree with them tbh, it was the weakest part of the movie for me personally. I could have done without it.
So what you are saying that they are space hillbillies... ;P
Yea, he did confirm Bjorn was the father on Reddit. Here's a link to the comment: Yes he is. Good catch!
Side note, they're ALL cousins lol, even Bjorn's new lady, Navarro. Rain is the only one that's not related, so far as I know.
Looks like a Jurassic Park movie so far, hopefully it is good
I'm sorry Thoughts_Dreams but from all the things Noah Hawley leaked about Alien Earth didn't fill me with confidence.
More than likely Ivaga is going to be an original planet. I mean it serves no purpose to the narrative to retcon an established part of ALIEN canon like that. LV-426/Acheron is an iconic planet in sci-fi much like Tatooine and Vulcan
To me it's better than both prequels
Xenotaris: Let's wait and see how it turns out
Yes but I inspired by screen showing star system, destination to Ivaga on The end od movie. Its similar to Retikulum system. Mayby corporation tells rumors that it's planet very good to live.
I don't know how she'd fit back. An aged Ripley 8 on Earth? A de-aged Weaver playing the role of her daughter Amanda? I'm not sure.
Sigourney Weaver already did so much not only for the franchise but the film industry as the badass woman (sorry Sarah Connor, Ripley was the OG) and beyond with her different portrayals of Ellen through her long and epic journey. She can't be 1:1 matched but there are many ways to introduce new characters, preferably without attempting to more or less copy the extreme survivalist concept of Ripley over and over (Shaw, Daniels, Rain) to the point where it feels like it's a mandatory rule when making a new Alien film.
Hopefully we'll get a sequel to Romulus that doesn't recycle the same ideas all over again, including a rifle-toting Rain in Ripley's shoes, figuratively and literally.
Maybe we'll see a different type of protagonist in the upcoming Alien Earth series.
Yes I made a contradictory statement, but hear me out, sorry for tripple posting since I can't edit my posts.
yes the pirates wouldn't know what the Pathogen does but they would likely assume it is a bioweapon and definitely wouldn't "test" it. It would be more valuable if they don't use any of the vials and just sell the whole set (or what's remains of the set since Kay already took one)
If they find out it was originally from a Weyland-Yutani science lab, even more reason to sell it to the black market, the UPP or a rival corporation would pay a fortune to get a hold of those vials.
It wouldn't take a genius for the pirates to guess the black fluid is some sort of bioweapon. There would be plenty of buyers for any sort of bioweapon, one such bidder would be the UPP (Union of People's Progression)
Well if it looks valuable they would probably sell it on the black market, I highly doubt they would use the stuff themselves just to see what IT is.
They would be smart enough to gauge its value and determine if this fluid is medicinal or some sort of sciency-thing.
MonsterZero, you underestimate the Black Market and their collection of odd goods.
I would like a vinyl OST for my favorite scifi movie
Thats is an awesome looking movie poster for ALIEN
Forget the TV series, thats one is going to be a dumpster fire, we need another Romulus ASAP
Maybe she could return as a synthetic? Like in the ALIEN comics?
"More than likely they would steal the pathogen and try and sell it to make money, sounds something a pirate would do."
How do they sell something if they don't know what it is? ( Is it food, fuel, laxative...?)
Pirate "To the highest bidder!"
Bidders "What does it do?!"
Pirates "we haven't a clue....Now...one million credits to start!"
I agree, Ripley had her time in the spotlight, and characters like Rain and Andy show that it's their turn now.
Yeah baby!
I hope the TV shows keeps the momentum and we a get a new movie in 2028 ( or sooner! ).
this is such a good news
Let's face hug more cash and give birth more prequels/sequels . :D
No thanks, Ripley is done. There are so many other characters that they can do, worlds that they can build, monsters that they can do so there's no need for another Ripley-movie. AR was bad enough and she was in it, so. Please lay it to rest, for ever.
Yeah I wish Big Dave would come back
To expand upon from above, LV-426's official name is Acheron, look it up its on the internet and on the ALIEN DVD and BluRay! Also LV-426/Acheron orbits a planet, called Calpamos thus is a moon and its star is Zeta Reticuli.
Calling it Ivaga III makes no sense with planet naming convenations of that type since Ivaga would be its star name and LV-426 doesn't orbit Ivaga, it orbits Zeta Reticuli.
