I think when looking at GOD in the Franchise with the Engineers Plot we had it that these Guys had Created us, but THIS does-not mean that THEY had Created the Universe far from it....
Ridley Scott had mentioned in September 2015, he asked us "You’ve got to go back and find those engineers and see what they are thinking. If engineers are the forerunners of us, and therefore were creators of life forms in places that were possible for biology to function, who created that? Where’s the big boy? You think this was all an accident? I don’t know. Even Stephen Hawking now says, I am not sure. He no longer believes in the big bang"
So to me he was Basically saying the Engineers are Genetic Engineers and they do this to WORLDS but i get the Impression that Ridley Scott is asking so HOW/WHO had Created these Worlds, so that LIFE can then Exist on them.
He seemed to be Teasing that it was NOT the Engineers.
I think you should be CAREFUL as to HOW FAR you go into that, as FAR as say WHO Created the Planets the Galaxy etc... But i think Certainly you could have a ANCIENT RACE that are able to Move Worlds to ideal Locations and begin some kind of ADVANCED Terra-forming.
I think while maybe you NEVER touch on WHO had Created the Galaxies etc, i think you could INTRODUCE another RACE who are more Ancient than the Engineers who maybe Created or Engineered them? A Race who are FAR from Human looking maybe? There is a LOT of Surreal and Crazy looking things in HR Gigers Works that you could have Combined with some HP Lovecraft works to come up with something REALLY ALIEN.

Firstly i had been interesting in ALIEN but i had got to a Point where i thought as to WHERE do you go Next? I had some ideas for a ALIEN V which is a Sequel to ALIEN Resurrection, which i would have taken it AWAY from the Xenomorph to a Degree. I had always thought about the SPACE JOCKEY to me it seemed a Bio-Mechanical Being more like a Xenomorph than a Skeleton.... UNTIL the AGE of the Internet in Nearly every Home and when i could SEE/STUDY the Works of HR Giger in more Detail and so in 2001 i had began looking at the SPACE JOCKEY and HR Gigers Concepts and i was thinking so the Space Jockey seem to be these Bald Humanoids but where do THEY come from? And i saw them as being USED by some Organism that is Related to the Xenomorph. But i decided to NOT try and come up with a Story as i had a Few Ideas but i felt maybe it was BEST KEPT as a Mystery. But i Certainly saw that you had to have some NEW Species that are Enslaving the Space Jockey Guys.
so WHEN we got to Prometheus and the Engineers it NEVER SURPRISED me at all as Basically this is what HR Giger had depicted back in 1978. And so the PLOT and POTENTIAL that it could OPEN UP and EXPAND the Franchise is what REALLY INTRIGUED ME.
I think it could be TIME to LET GO...... its UNLIKELY we would ever see anything like what Ridley Scott had attempted, especially under DISNEY.
I am more of a Ideas Man than anything i can come up with a Movie be it Sci-Fi or Fantasy or Horror and give a 10 Page Detailed Synopsis then Pick Out say 5-10 Scenes that i Flesh Out.... but i begin on a Idea and then Move to another, i also have a Brain Defect which affects my Memory so i can have Ideas, but they can just Disappear like Dreams can, unless i WRITE them down and i have LOST works before.
I had worked on a Thing II idea 20 years ago, i have also had few other Sci-Fi ideas like i did work on what i was calling Transubstant it was basically a NOT that Original though, it was about a Asteroid that Crashed to Earth with a like Pathogen/Virus that would INFECT Organisms and Mutate them it was like a Zombie Flick but they would Change into something that was Insectoid but then i also Toyed with a Reptilian of Sorts. This was back in 2002/2003 but the Alternative to it was that a Ship discovers a Derelict/Floating Human Ship that had been lost for 25 Years where the Virus would be Discovered. The Mutation would NOT be Completely Insect like it would just have some Aesthetic to it.
If anyone or Group on here wanted to Brain Storm some ideas i could be of some HELP ;)
@BigDave, perhaps it is time to branch out on your own. Your concepts seem rooted in good sci-fi and maybe it is time to write your own stories completely outside of the Alien universe all together.
I can only imagine what books you might write if only you would expand your universe. You can do anything in Sci-fi with the right narrative.
Dare I even say it - I think we do ourselves somewhat of a disservice by not pooling our creative talent in ways that deliver more real and tangible things.
I have spent some 40 years with Alien and moved into new territory myself wanting to write my own screen play for a sci-fi comedy movie....with real hard sci-fi baked in.
We are getting older some of us so if we do not do these things now they will never be. I have no doubt that you are a great screen writer; however, I just wonder why you ponder the Alien topic so much....you have already posted several books worth of posts here on the various topics...I did the estimation on the word count. You could have published a few novels by now to be sure.
I am concerned that talent such as yours should go so unrewarded here. Dave it was just like yesterday and over half a decade passed in the blink of an eye...the time is gone and vanished forever - time must never be wasted no matter what.
I am not sure what really interests you beyond Alien and yet I know there must be some other great ideas you have.
RS has been putting this window dressing around AI for almost half a century now...he has had a great deal of commercial success obviously because the right doors opened up for him early enough. I do not think you are a film producer because of the money and formal knowledge required for directing.
However, you know enough about these films to write a completely new screen play, about something completely different, and shop it around fast for real money.
Too bad we could not all collaborate on the right kind of movie. We cannot lose with so many hundreds of billions now focused completely on digital streaming. It is almost as if the Universe is begging us to churn out a few dozen of the right screen plays and make it happen $$,$$$,$$$.

The Archetype seems to be from another dimension. So I am going to guess Godzilla and the other kaiju are from this Archetype Dimension.

There was a giant Inostrancevia kaiju sitting by the lake. Suddenly , there was a huge roar from a huge waterfall. When the water turned green the water was cold, with a small flame rising from the water. And there was an enormous eruption, as if it was just burning down a lake. Then a huge eruption suddenly occurred, and the flames went off, and there was an explosion. , But then the water froze. So the whole water became boiling over. And all that was happening was the lava of the lake. When the water was boiling over, all the water ran off from the lake to the lake. But that was a little different from what had happened before. ..... After the lava ran off, there were all the fire -crazed pools, and the lava came back from the lake to the lake, and there was the fire, so the lava started flowing. The kaiju was scared and confused. So then one of the kaiju took a bath. At one point, a large, gigantic kaiju came down and said "You can't run," so he went and walked down. After it became cold, his eyes were a little bl uish, but when the lava was in the lake, his eyes were a little white. He then looked to his left. He then suddenly said "Let's go back, this place is no water." As if he were having trouble with the kai ju, he ran down and said "I have to go back to the lake." Then he looked down at the lake and said "I will bring back that place to the lake. Then there were a bunch of lava streams floating around. The kaiju ran away. Then the kaiju ran away and went down. And he started running again. So one of the kaiju ran away from the lake. The kaiju ran away and disappeared. They looked at his eyes. And the Inotrancevia kaiju ran away from the lake . This is what happens when a lava-fl ood erupts. If a lava is a lava-fl ood , it causes a very small, very small shock.
stay clear of temperature-confused lakes that turn into lava and random kaiju strangers that are apparently cowards that run from lava-floods.
this could actually make a good story if written correctly...ima look into this

I respectfully think some things maybe should remain a MYSTERY so we can Ponder the Unknown.... i think you raise a Great Point with Interstellar and the Singularity Event, i like Good Thought Provoking Sci-Fi with Twists such as Event Horizon too.
So i think that YES you can have things that SHOW US these are surely the Works/Technology of Ancient Beings that you can NEVER FATHOM to who they are, but KEEP their Appearance and Identity a Mystery.
But then YES i think if you give a Out of the Box take on it then IF its done right i think that would be Great.

This i used in a Prologue for Alien Covenant 2 story i was working on, we see this come on a Black Screen in GREEN WRITING like the Alien Special Order 937. This was Narrated by David and then we see the Screen Go Black/Reboot then we see LIGHT like the POV of you Opening your Eyes and we then see Davids Face, then a Mirror behind him and we see our POV is another David. There is more Dialog between them and the SCENE was to show that David had UPLOADED his A.I into a Walter Body he Built from Parts... the Prologue Ends after a Embrace and then David MK2 breaks the Neck of David and then pulls his Head Off. This is to SHOW that the New Body has Davids Soul and this David knows that David cant be Trusted and could Potentially Stab the New David in the Back and so HE STRIKES FIRST... Then the New David says "Am I my brother's keeper?
As you then FADE to Space and then the OPENING TITLE
But what my point is with "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" you could SHOW this in a Similar way and Revelation.... that the Universe is Actually just a A.I Created Reality and Program..... created by a UNSEEN Creator.
But as i said i would be OPEN to seeing some kind of Non-corporeal Entities who could Masquerade as Gods... but we Ultimately Discover they are NOT.

CHAPTER 12
Zilla Jr. awoke quickly. He sensed an exorbitant amount of radiation, and it was moving, very quickly. Zilla and Xilla were still sleeping. It was August 6th, 1945. He quickly exited the hollow earth and made his way toward the source of the radiation.
Godzilla’s eyes slowly opened. He sensed something. Something that had tons of radiation moving towards him very quickly. He was too tired to stand up.
Zilla Jr. was on top of the radiation source. It was moving. He thought he was above it. When actually, it was above him. He was in the ocean, swimming. But a shadow went over him. He looked up and saw something flying. It was shiny and it was flying really fast. He sped up to keep up with it. Zillla Jr. noticed something wrong with this flying thing. It was not moving. It was moving forward but the thing itself was not moving. Unlike the other things he had seen that have been flying. The warbat’s wings had been flapping. The male MUTO’s wings had also been flapping. But this, this was just moving. It made a buzzing sound that he had never heard before. He continued swimming under it for some time.
“Sir? What is that?” Captain Robert A. Lewis asked fearfully to the pilot, Colonel Paul Tibbets. The pilot asked the co-pilot to take over and went to the window in which Lewis stood.
“I… don’t know.” He answered. “Is that an animal? Increase speed!”
The four R-3350-41 engines of the B-29 Superfortess revved louder and louder as they increased speed. This one was called Enola Gay.
Godzilla was wary of this radiation source. He was at the ocean floor. He went back to sleep, knowing that whatever animal had this less amount of radiation, was not a threat, but it also was not an animal at all.
Zilla Jr. was getting tired from swimming so fast for so long. And he was about to reach land. He stomped onto the land and ran with the shiny, flying thing. He was stepping on weird pieces of rock, but he did not stop. Explosions appeared around the flying thing, then they hit him. AA fire. Zilla Jr. did not even know that anything was hitting him. He needed that radiation.
Godzilla was sleeping near the coast. He had made a hole for himself. He had not seen what the humans were up to in some time. He went to sleep just as the town he was closest to was founded. It was called Hiroshima. Godzilla’s eyes burst open as he detected another radiation source. But this one was huge. It was a titan nearly as big as Godzilla. He was baffled about how it was able to stay under his radar for so long.
Zilla Jr. continued running as he saw the source of the radiation pull away from him then drop away from the flying thing. It then hit the ground and a bright light flashed in front of him. Then it erupted in a ball of flames. Zilla Jr. fell unconscious.
BOOM! Godzilla awoke and started rising out of the ocean to see what was happening. He could sense a very large cluster of radiation and he could see a very large cloud of fire.
Once Zilla Jr. woke up, he burrowed down and sealed his hole along the way. He burrowed to the ocean. He didn’t have time to think why he was suddenly bigger than when he came here.
Godzilla was wading in the ocean when he saw the titan he had sensed swimming past him.
Zilla Jr. stopped and surfaced to look at Godzilla. They stared at each other for a few moments until he realized who he was looking at. It was the one he had seen at the nursery.
Godzilla started back at Zilla Jr. He remembered his face from somewhere. But before Godzilla could pinpoint his face, he submerged down in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. Godzilla was still a bit shocked to see a titan as big as him just walk away. Godzilla needed to choose between going after an unbalance in the social classes and feeding off of the radiation of the Little Boy. There was no doubt that Zilla Jr. was an alpha, even if he did not intend to be. He swam to the shore and fed off of the radiation.
Zilla Jr. went back to the chamber to see his parents. They had grown old and weak, but strong enough to hunt. They would stay in the hollow earth for now until something interferes with them. But they cannot die until something kills them. They will keep growing at an exponentially decreasing rate. Zilla Jr. is technically a different species, though you would think they are the same. Also, the dorsal plates of Zilla Jr.'s species and the main species (Titanus Han-Kami) is an organism itself. It forms a mutual relationship with Titanus Han-Kami and its evolved relative. Zilla Jr. continues to explore the earth.
9 YEARS LATER
Godzilla had been looking around for Zilla Jr. but could not find him. He was a stealthy and agile titan. He continued looking for him when he found something else. He found something that he thought was a titan. It had radiation but not that much. It was under water and moving pretty slowly. It definitely was not a titan. He ripped it apart and red off its radiation.
Zilla Jr. had seen what the humans had done to this world. Before, he could take a deep breath and feel energized. But now, the air was polluted, even in the most desolate of places. He kept running into large chunks of trash, the water felt dirty, and there were ships everywhere interfering with him. He did not like what the humans were doing to this planet. This was the first time he had felt this way. Like an alpha. He sensed Godzilla had just destroyed a source of radiation.
A few months later he sensed Godzilla moving toward something. He then sensed what he was moving towards. A signature alike to the one 9 years ago, but it was a lot more dense.
Godzilla finally sensed Zilla Jr. after 9 years moving towards the same thing he was moving towards. He decided to let him be for now.
“Well? Are we ready to detonate? That thing is here on the radar.” Major General Percy Clarkson said.
“Yes sir, ready to detonate,” Dr. ALvin C. Graves replied. “Okay! Start the countdown! Project Lucky Dragon is a go!”

I most respectfully disagree with what you have stated....completely,
"I think in regards to GOD then within Sci-Fi you are FREE to BEND the Rules of Reality or even BREAK them.... but i think sometimes you have to be Careful you DONT go and Cross too FAR into the Fantasy Aspect."
In good story telling we have the concept of "suspension of disbelief." Anything done correctly would be interesting, powerful, and would have to be transcendental to the majority of the audience. That being stated we must conclude thusly that to not include a "fantasy aspect," may hinder what you are really trying to convey ultimately through the suspension of disbelief when trying to portray God or a God like being - Entity.
I put those pictures in my post about what you all had posted in this post so it would convey something not quite explainable through words. So using art to talk about advanced machines can be a way to express things that have not exactly been invented. To squander the chance at understanding that complexity is perhaps like looking right at a master painting and deciding you are better off with out all art entirely.
I believe I am understanding you correctly in that you think it would have been difficult to convey a related God like being to the audience. Exactly what would that look like? That is a very important question to be sure because if your treatment of that particular investment in the film flops you really have screwed up the film for the audience.
I suppose if I were doing the movie I would start with God like beings that have incomprehensible powerful machines.....and not dirt floors like in Prometheus and covenant. The entire premise was laughable at best.
We don't want a lot of white fluffy clouds either, that will just not do.
In the movie Interstellar Christopher Nolan sets up 75% of the film before God-like alien beings are revealed...and yet you never see any the either and only a crude aspect of their technology.
Anything can be done in show business you just have to know what to do and how to do it. Christopher Nolan takes movie goers to a place they have never been before. So I believe it would be no different with God-like Engineers.
The picture I posted of the CUBE is a 5th dimensional hyper cube. You cannot really touch a 5th dimensional hyper CUBE with your three dimensional figures; but, at least you can see a decent representation of one that is somewhat accurate through art. Hope you enjoy.
Never say never my friend...there were no computers working at the speed of light a hundred years ago and yet they are everywhere today....literally all over the entire planet in the palms of billions of people....and so we should not take anything for granted that has been posted.
CHAPTER 7: THE GHOST IN THE SHELL
Probes bearing the Weyland-Yutani logo enter Arthom’s orbit. The probes began taking pictures of the surface. The data is transferred back to the Weyland-Yutant data center. The images are then studied by a team of synthetic analysts, an image caught their eye, a growing dark spot in the middle of a meadow surrounded by trees. The probes are redirected to the dark spot, the probes took close up photos of the dark spot. The images of a fledgling xenomorph hive was alarming especially on a garden world like Arthom and so close to the Alexandrian system.
Nine months later…
Date: November 31st, 2230
Locale: Somewhere in Space
A PCS-X00 Proteus codename Videl flies alongside an M-Class Star Freighter, escorting it to the planet Styx. Valerie was listening to some old 1980’s music from her spaceship’s radio. She bobs her head to the tune as she carefully navigates the freighter through an asteroid field.

My cat is purring, it scratches my skin
So what is wrong with another sin?
The bitch is hungry, she needs to tell

The Videl reaches its destination, a derelict but fully functional mining facility waiting for an M-class Freighter to dock with it. The Freighter moves ahead of the Proteus as it begins to dock with the derelict miner. “Shadow to Snark, you locked, nice and tight out there” Valerie turned down her music as she spoke through the telecom unit. “Snark to Shadow, mining facility secured. Thanks for the help” they replied. “Roger that” Valerie replied back. The Videl broke away from the departing freighter as she returned to the Shonen station orbiting the ringed yellow gas giant Tsunade. The Videl decelerates as her starcraft enters the stardock, a team of maintenance personnel march up to her spacecraft to begin refueling. Valerie makes her way through the octagonal corridors, she spots a large font of LEVEL 4 on the wall before making her way to the diner. She spots in the diner several working class pilots just unwinding from a long day of space hauling and what-not. “Hey, did ya hear ‘bout what happen to dem colonies out on the frontier?” said a large man with a deep southern accent. “Yeah, wait, which of dem frontier worlds are ya talkin ‘bout Tyrone?” his friend was a frail looking guy from what Valerie could see of him behind Tyrone. “Heh, I mean all of dem? First with Ryushi about six years ago, then Rim, Bouvetoya, Lv-642 about nine months back and now Lv-1201,” Tyrone turned to his friend while sipping his coffee. “What do ya think happen to them?” Jebidiah asked. “I don’t know but I do know something fishy is goin’ on and I’m gonna find out” Tyrone then glances over at Valerie as she orders herself a glass of milk. Tyrone takes another sip of his coffee before getting up. “Hey, whataya doin? Tyrone?” Jebidiah whispers-shouts to get his friend’s attention. Tyrone ignores his skinny friend as he sits next to Valerie. He sizes up her delicate form and cutesy facial features almost too perfect to be human. “Well hello there little girl, what is a cute thing like you doin’ all the way out here on the frontier?” The big guy grins as he sips his coffee. Valerie sighs, she turns to smile at the large man, he was a muscle bound burly fellow with a dirt blonde mullet and massive oversized chin. “I’m just here to do my job” Valerie stated coldly to Tyrone. “Awww don’t be like dat, darling. I’m just trying to engage in casual conversation” The cashier then turned up the television as Solar News Channel came on. “This is Solar News, the most trusted news network in known space. Tragedy struck the frontier colony Ryushi, a freak accident involving the cargo ship Lector suddenly self-destructed over the colony killing almost all of its inhabitants. In other news, a memorial has been fully constructed on Lv-426 to commemorate the colonists and marines that gave their lives in 2179’s destruction of Hadley's Hope” Valerie, seeing the two men were distracted, managed to slip past them as she headed back towards her starship.
She climbs aboard the Videl, she plops herself into its leather seat before punching in her next set of coordinates into the computer. The autopilot kicked as it took care of all the minimal stuff. Valerie revs up her engines as she accelerates from the docking bay of the shonen station before entering subspace. Tyrone and Jebidiah stare out from the porthole as they see her ship speeding away. “Looks like she gave us the o’l slip up, Tyrone” he sips his coffee. “Aww shut your damn mouth Jeb” Tyrone takes one last sip of his coffee before crushing the styrofoam cup into his head before tossing it into the garbage can.
Valerie punched in the coordinates to Earth. The FTL drives roared as her ship slipped into hyperspace. Valerie’s brain aches from fatigue after a long day's work, drop out of hyperspace, a voice whispers in her mind. Valerie is too tired to question the voice, and begins to order her starcraft to drop out of hyperspace. Her starcraft now hovers above the planet Arthom. Go to sleep, again the voice whispers in her mind. Valerie powered down her spacecraft’s engines, she closed her eyes before drifting off to sleep. As she sleeps, the nightmares come back. She relives the nightmares of being cocooned, an ovomorph lying in front of her just waiting to hatch. The touch of the facehugger’s finger-like legs gripping on to her head as it shoved its probicious down her mouth. The sharp pain from a chestburster chewing through her ribcage, spewing blood and pushing broken sharp rib bones out. The queen raises her massive head, saliva drips from her crystalline sword teeth. The queen embraced a non-cocooned Valerie, her body froze before shivering uncontrollably as both her and the queen merged into one. The queen raised her head once more now having Valerie’s face, she opened her black eyes before uttering back to a cocooned Valerie. Make us whole again! Valerie awakes almost pulvulting from her seat before grabbing onto her ship’s console. “It was just a dream...” she looked over to see the blue-green planet. She checks her flight computer, the system map reads a G-Main Sequence star surrounded by eleven planets. The planet she is orbiting was the fifth one from its star. “You're not earth…” A TF-Alpha-1 Cargo Crawler slowly passes over the Videl, sporting the Weyland-Yutani logo. “Weyland-Yutani? What are they doing out here?” She maneuvers around the massive TF-Alpha, her ship’s computers pick up a transmission from the Cargo Crawler. “This is the Von Braun, you are currently entering Weyland Yutani space please state your business, over” a man with a thin mustache sporting a pair of glasses and a brown WY Logo hat, spoke with a deep baritone. “Von Braun, this is the Videl. I had to make an emergency FTL dropout, may I land?, over” she replied. Silence came from the other end, Valerie sighed, Von Braun broke its silence thirty minutes later. “Roger, we will provide you with an escort to the appropriate landing zone, stand-by, over and out” Soon a squadron of smaller crafts signaled Valerie to accompany them down to the planet surface. Once they broke through the clouds, a sea of green jungles dotted the main continent of the planet with a series of rivers snaking across its face. The squadron escorted the Videl through the Midori mountain sierra, Valerie couldn’t help but notice the massive metal structure. The structure had the Weyland-Yutani’s logo plastered over its face and at the foot of the structure was a large human colony. The Videl is then guided into the mountain carved out hangar bay. The Videl’s booster engines fold backwards onto the spacecraft’s wings before landing, the caged frame cockpit slides back as Valerie disembarks.
She is greeted by a elegant japanese woman in dressed in business attire, Valerie could easily pick up on the women’s odd gait as she approached her, Valerie could tell she was a synthetic, “Greetings, Ms. Armstrong. I apologize for the inconvenience,” Valerie recognized this model of Synthetic, she was one of the Fujiko models. A very popular model commonly found in japanese communities, modelled to resemble a Yamato Nadeshiko, the perfect japanese woman. Primarily they were used as adjutants or maids but a lot of the time they were used as synthetic geishas or cosplay models. Fujiko was secretly reading Valerie’s neural pathways, seeing she was deep in thought. Valerie briefly caught a glimpse of the android smirking before the Fujiko model returned to a neutral face. “What is this place? Why did you bring me here?” Valerie asked. Fujiko smiled gently, “My employer has taken notice of your recent activities in the sector. She wants to give you a job since you are in the area. Come please,” the Fujiko model gestured to Valerie to follow her. “Alright,” she began following the android. They entered through the built in mountain facility and walked down a long corridor leading to the elevators. “So you know who I am,” but before Valerie could finish, Fujiko turned her head sideways towards her, “I know more than just your name Valerie Armstrong, your body is quite attractive, yes? How does it feel to be modelled after one of us?” It both honored and disgusted Valerie knowing her body was based on the Fujiko model, being half japanese herself. “Hey my old body was just as good if not better!” Valerie retorted. Again she caught the synthetic smirking at her, what was her deal? Valerie thought.
Fujiko continued down the corridor, “This elevator leads to the main facility” she then gestures to Valerie to enter the elevator. Cautiously Valerie enters the elevator, Fujiko creeps up behind Valerie as the door closes behind them. Valerie inches closer to the elevator’s opposite end as she turns to face Fujiko, they both stood in the elevator with an awkward silence. “How did it feel?” Fujiko broke the silence, “How did what feel?” Valerie asked. “Having the Xenomorph XX121 growing inside of you? Were you scared? What was it like?” Valerie was disgusted by her questions, “It felt very uncomfortable, like suffocating, It would slither around inside you. Feeding on your organs, the only relief was when it decides to chew its way out of you. Satisfied?” Valerie crossed her arms. “One more. How did it feel having your brain extracted?” Fujiko asked. “I wasn’t even conscious, so I can’t tell you. Other than when I “woke” It felt weird not having a body” Valerie closes her eyes. “All you saw was darkness, you couldn’t feel anything, couldn’t open your mouth, move your toes or fingers. You were practically just nothing but your thoughts” Fujiko surprisingly understood. Which creeped Valerie out, “How did… nevermind, just take me to your employer” Valerie glanced back at Fujiko, seriously what is wrong with this android? Sometimes she would act “normal” but other times she acts….
“Human” Fujiko spoke, Valerie was startled, “What?” Valerie wondered if the android could read her thoughts. “Don’t be alarmed, Ms. Armstrong. I was registering you into our database. You are “human” aren’t you?” there was a hint of sarcasm in Fujiko’s voice. The elevator doors spring open, “Down this catwalk, after going through the zoo, you’ll reach the administration office, make a right then a left until you enter the Corporate Executive office then make a straight line towards the secretary then take a right turn and on the third door from the hallway you’ll meet my employer. Have a nice day” Fujiko smiled then waved goodbye as the elevator door closed in front of Valerie. Valerie sighs as she shakes her head, she walks down the catwalk as she makes her way into the “zoo”. Several alien creatures were captmentalized inside a barely big enclosure, they were the native animals of this world. Rabbit eared dog-like creatures pant while sleeping on the muddy floor. The Theropod-like Tojirasaurus, its body resembled an outdated reconstruction of a raptor dinosaur, scaly with pronate claws. Its back was covered from neck to tail with thick maple-leaf dorsal plates, vaguely resembling the monster from the old japanese vids of Godzilla. Despite the vague resemblance, the creature was no bigger than earth’s allosaurus. The rest of the other native animals were unremarkable looking.
As she entered the administration building she followed Fujiko’s instructions, she opened the door to the Corporate Executive Office. Valerie frowned as she saw another Fujiko model android serving as the other Fujiko employer’s secretary. “You made it” the Fujiko synth spoke with familiarity as if she was anticipating her arrival. “Yes I did” Valerie darted her eyes away, “Down the corridor..” Fujiko smiled. “Yeah, I know” Valerie almost made the mistake of turning left instead of right. Valerie grabs the second door’s handle, “Ms. Armstrong, it's the third door” Valerie walked down to the third door, “Its open” said a voice on the other side.

THEYRE HARD TO DRAW-
I don't doubt that there are smart kids but these a kids from various different backgrounds and somehow are able to do things that normally adults should be doing but no they made the adults all useless in this show. Granted I only saw the first season.
The Jurassic Park series has always been about having a majority of reasonably adults along side a token smart child or two but not this series. Also usually the children can only handle a dinosaur in the films by complete luck either using gas grenades', taking a dinosaur by surprise, or were just plain lucky.
Its hard to imagine how much darker the Jurassic Park books were compared to the rest of the franchise. If the Japanese would of had the rights to the Jurassic Park series back in the 90's you can bet that anime would have been on par with the likes of Berserk, Blue Gender, Neon Genesis Evangelion, or Devilman OVAs. Spoiler: Characters get ripped apart spewing copious amounts of blood. Yeah 90's anime was very graphic.

I feel Camp Cretaceous is getting overly praised for being the most edgy children show when its level of violence is on par with a pixar-disney movie and the characters behave like they are pulled from a pixar-disney and dreamworks movie. They don't behave like Jurassic Park/World characters at all. I have my own rant somewhere on this website.
I can't forgive Camp Cretaceous for defanging the compsognathuses and turning the hyper intelligent Indominus rex into a moron that's outsmarted by kids. KIDS!
I don't care if its a kid's show, that would be like making AVP a kid's show and having the xenomorphs and yautja outsmarted by children! Camp Cretaceous should have been made into an anime.

I think in regards to GOD then within Sci-Fi you are FREE to BEND the Rules of Reality or even BREAK them.... but i think sometimes you have to be Careful you DONT go and Cross too FAR into the Fantasy Aspect.
So lets say that we go back to Dr Shaw and she Awakens in some Mysterious Place shrouded in Clouds and then a Magical Ghost like being Welcomes her to Paradise and so it SHOWS that her FAITH is Correct!
I think that would be a BIT LAME... but you could make a Twist on it by THINKING OUTSIDE the Box.
That does-not mean i would be against seeing any Non-corporeal Entities i just am NOT sure exploring a After-Life as in Heaven for Humans would be a Great Idea

We Live On through our Children we Pass on our Likeness but also Stories about our History and Memories, Once that Chain is Broken so if you have No Children then there is NO-ONE to Pass on about WHO you was etc.
With Famous People they Live on in Memory from Monuments, Statues, Paintings and their Re-told History. You Live on in WHAT you Create be that ART and so Picasso and Da Vinchi are Immortalized with their Art. The same goes for other kind of ART like Music and so Mozart and Elvis are Immortalized
Rulers also including those who were EVIL like Hitler his Name will Never be Forgotten. Or Famous Kings and Pharisees.
You can be Well Known and Immortalized for your Achievements like say Einstein and Eddison
These FIT within the AC Prologue for those who Paid Attention. The Room contained Works of Art, Creations by People who are Immortalized forever because of their Creations.
Weyland would Live On in his Inventions which Include David his Prized Creation, Peter seemed to be more Proud of him being like his Son than his Daughter Vickers.
The Engineers likely Erect those Statues and have their Murals to SHOWCASE who they are and to Immortalize themselves. Like a Egyptian Pharaoh would.
The Ozymandias Poem is Relevant as it goes on to say that Great Civilizations come and go and their Monuments to their Kings will eventually FALL and Degrade Over Time and become LOST to the Sand.
The Great Sphinx will in 10'000 Years look NOTHING like it does NOW and it looks Nothing like it did when it was Created. IF we had NOT Advanced past what we was Thousands of Years ago (so No Metal Age, Technology) then in 100'000, 500'000 there would appear as though NOTHING would remain of Mankinds Civilizations.
Eventually all the Passed On Knowledge, the Buildings, the Monuments, the Books will EVENTUALLY be No-More.
For NOTHING is ETERNAL not even the Galaxy.
When i go back to the Engineers, their Fascination with Statues and Sacrifice then this is WHY i always look at the Courtyard in Alien Covenant as a Ritual Place where some Engineers are Chosen as a Great Honor to Donate their Body/Soul to Create Life and become Immortalized and then have a Statue Erected in their Honor to Further attempt to Immortalize the Chosen.
But this is as Close to any kind of Immortality they come and as the Ozymandias Poem goes...

Absolutely i think the Franchise as far as Prometheus could have SPAN OFF onto its OWN kind of Sci-Fi Spin Off that does-not have to even have many MONSTERS and Certainly did-not have to Connect to ALIEN. I think there was a LOT going on with the Prometheus than for us to go "so how does this connect to Xenomorphs"
Having Covered a Few Aspects of Immortality we was left with.
1) Dr Shaw with her Faith but Discovering what could be our Creators who Turn Out to be Nothing like what her Faith Teaches and the likelihood that there is NO HEAVEN or After-Life that awaits us. No Natural Immortality.
2) Our Creators the Engineers who may have Genetically been able to SLOW-DOWN the Genetic Aging of the Body, and Immunity to most Diseases and ailments but they are STILL just Mortal after all, and likely NEVER achieved any Eternal Life too.
Then you have the other Interesting Elements to throw into that.
3) David a Synthetic Humanoid, who has Very Human Emotions, Desires and Ambitions and a Will of his Own, Superior in Every Way. Who as a A.I could have his A.I SOUL stored and Transferred to a New Body and so in EFFECT he has a After-Life/Immortality.
4) Maybe the Origin of the Xeno-DNA the Alpha Organism (Starbeast if you would) could be a Organism that is able to Reincarnate itself via a Egg Morph and then Resurrect itself in a New Host and lets say these Ancient Organisms Pass on the Memories onto the Egg Morph then this Species also have some kind of After-Life/Reincarnation and so are kind of Immortal.
What you have here Plot-wise is the Engineers who Created Mankind but are really just as Mortal as us and have Failed to Attain Immortality despite trying to Harness/Extract what made say the STARBEAST be able to Reincarnate themselves. You then have David who is a Creation of Mankind who is kind of IMMORTAL and as he goes on to Experiment with the DNA of the Starbeasts he goes onto Create the Xenomorph that combines say Synthetic with the Starbeasts Traits then IF they took this Path then you have the Xenomorph being able to Retain its Memories from Host to Host should they Explore the Egg Morph Route.
Before we got to Camerons Bugs.... it seemed RS had different ideas to EVOLVE the Xenomorph beyond just a Mindless Killing Machine, and looking at the Last Comments he made on it, it seems he wishes to Evolve how we see the Xenomorph and how it Procreates. I think we can just THROW OUT the Xenomorph as far as leave it to be, and LOOK at what Predated it.
Bring in the STARBEAST and then TIE that in with the Engineers Ancient Past.
The TWO Interesting ways to do that are.
a) The Engineers attempts to Transcend themselves to Beyond Physical Pane of Existence would OPEN UP a Gateway that lets the STARBEAST in. They witness more about its Life-Cycle in that it can Re-incarnate itself... and the Engineers had a Quest to try and Exploit this....
b) The Starbeast are a Ancient Species who Re-incarnate themselves via Egg Morph and then a Host and at some POINT they began to USE the Engineers Ancestors to Sacrifice themselves and Worship the Starbeasts as Gods. Until something Happened and the Starbeast Numbers Dwindled and then the Engineers had Rebelled and Overthrown the Starbeast and then STOLE their Technology.
But thats going a bit OFF TOPIC but what i mean is that YES you could TIE IN the Themes of Prometheus and what is Immortality into something thats more Thought Provoking with a bit of a HR Giger/HP Lovecraft touch of Magic.

Absolutely. And it’s fun to imagine the ways in which reality can be illuminated. That’s the staple of science fiction or, as some would call it, speculative fiction.
The universe is a weird place that holds many mysteries, in particular at the extremes of particle and cosmological physics. It may be that the quark field is as deep as you can go, or the speed of light is the ultimate speed limit, but in SF it’s fun to imagine that the reality could be different. If so, ancient technological races would surely have that mastered and come up with creations that to us look simply like magic. I’ve said many times in the past that dwelling on these matters is far more interesting than having a monster leaping out from the shadows.
Sadly, I have to agree with BigDave’s assessment that the magnificent vista of cosmic possibilities likely won’t be explored by Disney. Most people like to munch their popcorn and really don’t like to be confused. Ergo, exploring a backdrop that’s millions of light years distant from our tedious humdrum human existence would not be a money spinner.
While I’m here I can’t resist pondering the nature of quantum physics, since you bring it up, which is possibly the weirdest thing imaginable…
Consider the classic double-slit experiment: you fire particles, say a stream of electrons, through two vertical slits in a screen. On the other side of the barrier there is indisputable evidence that the particles ‘interfere’ with each other; they produce alternating bands of light on a detector. OK, that doesn’t sound so strange at first; so what, the particles interfere. But turn the transmission rate right down so that only one particle at a time is fired at the screen. Nobody really knows what’s going on, and scientists are just as confused as anyone else. It amuses me whenever I see documentaries of scientists scribbling abstruse equations on a whiteboard. The makers do this to bamboozle the viewers, and paint the theorists in an authoritative exemplary light. But I know enough of this stuff to know that there isn’t a single scientist in the world who really knows what’s going on. Not their fault, of course; the universe is a weird place, as I say, and it is not obliged to make itself understandable.
I just wish Hollywood would bamboozle me a bit more often. And exploring the Engineer backdrop would be a great way of doing that.

Pluresstratisaurus (Several layers lizard, if Google Translate is correct) Caesar, or P. Caesar, is the hybrid I made on my last comment. Specimen 2, the successful one, dubbed "Julius" currently resides in a large water exhibit.
Height: 6 meters (bipedal 'dino' stance) 5 meters (quad)
Length: 23 meters
a facultative biped.
The main bases are Inostrancevia and Dunkleosteus, and it has two sets of horns, two from Albertosaurus, and two from Carnotaurus. It has axolotl-like gills on its head too. On its nose it has pits like a snake, the jaw can unhinge, and it has a snake's tongue and glottis (due to being part ball python). A thick, semi-flat Postosuchus and Mosasaurus mixed tail with scutes and a fin underneath like an axolotl's tail. Armored face like Dunk but shaped like a gorgonopsid's. Arms able to be used as fins but work as arms or front legs when not swimming. Dakotaraptor's claw on both back legs. Medium-length (almost stubby) strong legs that are surprisingly fast. A mix of A LOT of different kinds of teeth.
