Easily the best Reiwa Godzilla design (at least in my opinion).
Godzilla Minus One & Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire have been added.
Scores updated.
Looks Awesome! Kind of reminds me of the 2012 Comic-Con teaser for Godzilla 2014.
Also, it sounds like it's going to be somewhat of a remake of the 1954 film, which explains why it's being released on November 3rd in Japan.
My first G film was King Kong vs. Godzilla, back in the late 60s on TV. I was hooked from then on.
Yes, I know I am old.
Is the image of poster and design official? If so, he looks awesome!
Wasn't that added years after the movie came out? Because I don't recall Lambert being trans in the scripts.
well ignoring David being the xenomorph's creator, I think he still killed off the engineers and made his own variant of the xenomorph called Praetomorphs (its a name given to David's creation thanks to the Alien RPG).
The xenomorphs we seen in prior films (minus Resurrection and the AVP films) are of the original stock made by the Engineers.
That said to reiterate, the xenomorphs were not indigenous to Lv-426 and the xenomorphs on planet 4 are an offshoot species, not true xenomorphs. So where did the xenomorphs come from? If they were bioweapons, maybe they are grown in some sort of biomechanical weapons factory? If the Engineers released the xenomorphs on their ancient foes, possibly there could be hundreds if not thousands of worlds with xenomorphs hibernating beneath its surfaces.
@Xenotaris Interesting fact, Lambert is canonically trans, it was revealed in the movie Aliens.
"Subject is Despin Convert at birth (male to female). So far no indication of suppressed trauma related to gender alteration."

I consider David an unreliable narrator. I think he's lying about creating the xeno or killing the Engineers ( I think they were long dead by the time Shaw and David arrived ). Just his damaged/conflicted synthetic brain spewing nonsense.
But, there are Eggs on Planet 4 and LV426.
Right now, the history of the xenomorph is a complete mess and I'm fine with what ever they dream up.
(( Did David create the spores on Planet 4? The spores are far, far more dangerous then a Egg pod/ facehugger ( you can avoid a egg pod and even kill a facehugger )))
Well If its another colony world, maybe David didn't create the first xenomorph
If this is a new colony planet..then I wonder how the xenomorph got there?
There is only one set photo ...and it's hard to tell if it's aboard a spaceship or a building on the surface.
Also being a producer doesn't necessarily mean that Scott would have full creative control over the movie. Spielberg who directed the first Jurassic Parks was a big T. rex fan but he couldn't stop Johnson from incorporating the T. rex was a scavenger and a wuss into Jurassic Park 3, who Spielberg worked on as a producer.
first two Jurassic Parks*
MonsterZero
Who says its going to be set on LV-426? That would interfere with ALIENS, so I am guessing it will be set on a new planet.
I can't believe Ridley Scott would want to produce A:Romulus if it retconned ( or ignored ) his Prometheus or Covenant. It must be a plot that interested him or he'd probably just move on.
LV-223 is still a possibility for the colony. Tombs, Juggernauts, black goo cannisters laying around. it's far more Earthlike than LV426. 39 LY from Earth.
MonsterZero
The movie is going to be set between ALIEN and ALIENS, so if Covenant was set in 2104, Alien in 2122, and Aliens in 2179. Where looking at a ballpark figure of this movie being 30-70 years after Covenant.
So Origae 6 would have been long forgotten by this point in the storyline. Also I doubt Disney would want to continue off of Covenant's storyline.
I personally would have set the movie after ALIENS/ALIEN 3 but before Alien Resurrection.
Good, Stan Winston's team have returned to work on an Alien film
Why "Romulus" ? "When Romulus built a city wall, Remus jumped over it and was killed by his brother"
Is Romulus name of the colony or a starship? Will there even be a starship? Maybe the colony is settled and they were just dropped shipped? I doubt they would name the movie after another starship.
Plot is "On a distant colony, the group finds themselves in a fight for their lives with the titular alien."
Sounds like they are on Origae 6. David is dead or has moved on. maybe get to see what happed to David's victims?
This must be 90% digital movie, limited sets. Saves them money....but they must have had a set that was real?
So there isn't any set photos? Must be green screen oriented. Not showing a set is disturbing. I don't expect them to rebuild the derelict set...but show us some spaceship interiors please.

Its secondary jaws
I can't wait to see the trailer now
1 week to go!
It looks interesting, I wonder what that orange thing is?
It looks really epic! I really like the details on Millennium's Skin.
Gonna watch this asap, loved the first part.
Denis Villeneuve said that after Dune part 2 he wants to make Dune Messiah.
I'm all in for his adaptation.
I want to see this real bad
Are you really sure those are the engineers/space jockeys? 'Cause they don't look anything like 'em and they ain't got no legs. So, that creature we see at the end of the campaign also doesn't have legs, which makes me think it ain't the engineers. Some folks might argue it's the space jockey, but since Ridley Scott shot down that idea, I wouldn't be too confident about it.
I am now so excited about what the plot will be like. A series of events while Ripley was sleeping. Hope we will get some Jones references :p
I am wondering if we will see the Alien+Aliens vibe of technology instead of Prometheus+Covenant high-tech presentation.
this is so exciting, we are just 1 year away to have another brand new Alien movie come to life. Hopefully we will get a teaser this year end. :D
i would buy this, but i am poor :)
The skrunkly
My guess is that the last one could be Viras.
go write your erotic fanfictions somewhere else
Xenotaris Well still find David write at home in an tentacle hentai. Why should we discard the allegory when exactly that is the point ?
