Yeah but if it was something else I'd go bonkers.
i just thought the movies existed in the the universe, like the films not the kaiju. just people see them and named some kaiju after them
Wow, I can't believe it took this long to make my 1st article!!!
Just Easter Eggs, guys. Don't look too far into it.
Probably references, or the movies exist in the universe (not the kaiju, but the people watch the movies) and they’re named after the monsters
Also has the Cloverfield monster next to Gigan. I noticed that too - it's merely a homage to Kaiju in general, not necessarily indicative that Godzilla, Gamera, Cloverfield, etc... all reside in the same shared Pacific Rim universe. Surprised they got away with using those references to be honest, all those monsters are owned by different studios.
They're probably just meant to be Easter eggs. As far as Legendry planning something with them...
The director and writters of Pacific Rim 2 wanted to connect the series to the MonsterVerse.
So maybe...?

According to some source that I forgot the name of, Prometheus is Frankenstein's monster.
Chris approved it
https://www.scified.com/news/stranger-things-4-the-trailer-theory
but in the Early script it was called Frankenstein. Not prometheus, i’m talking about this movie specifically,
I don’t know If I can afford the criterion collection right now. I’m saving my money for other things at the moment. As for HBO Max, I don’t really trust HBO. I think I’ll just rent them somehow.
sonictiger,
If it is not Godzilla or kaiju related I do not run it.
Frankenstein (the story, not Victor's monster) was dubbed 'The Modern Prometheus'
And Victor Frankenstein's creature never HAD a name speaking of the story...
It's the editorials...on Scified.Com
sonictiger,
I'm not sure which site that article that's linked to and who spends the most time running it, so that's going to have to be either Chris or someone else that approves it once it has been looked at.
that’s not prometheus it was Frankenstein
Heisei and Showa.
As much as I like the Millennium series my biggest problem with it is the fact that it kept resetting the timeline and never had a strong continuity (a problem that the Reiwa series also has). What I like about the Heisei series, the MonsterVerse, and parts of the Showa series is that the movies feel connected to each other, with the events of previous movies setting up the story for future movies, like Mecha-King Ghidorah's remains being used for Mechagodzilla or the Oxygen Destroyer killing the original Godzilla and creating Destoroyah. It makes the world feel more interesting.
As for 1998, I'm a bit biased towards it as it played a big role in my childhood. It was the first giant monster movie I ever saw and helped make me the fan that I am Today, so I could never truly dislike it. As a Godzilla movie it fails, but as a dumb entertaining monster movie I don't think it's that bad. I don't think that it deserves the intense hatred that a lot of fans throw at it (seriously it's been 23 years, get over it). The animated series is actually pretty good and is much more faithful to Godzilla's legacy, so I would recommend it.
Off-Topic question Gman, but has my Stranger Things article been approved?
If not please do so....
SarcasticGoji,
Well if you have the money I'd spring for the Criterion set. It's expensive, but worth it.
Otherwise, I think the majority of the titles you mentioned are on various forms of streaming, including HBO Max.
I guess that explains why it was never fully released. Another one that had me scratching my head was King Kong vs Prometheus but it was later turned into King Kong vs Godzilla apparently. Here was an image of what it would have looked like I guess.

godzilla vs the legandary wolfman is a godzilla fan film that has been in prodution since 2018. this explains the staff member wearing the mask.
blue ray copies of the film are available on ebay, thogh they are in limited in supllies. I own a copie and I give the film a solid 6 out of 10.
I’m watching thess films when I get time.
Godzilla Raids again
King Kong vs Godzilla
Mothra vs Godzilla
Ghidorah
Invasion of the Astro Monster
Ebirah Horror of the deep
and many other showa movies.
Their harder to get to watch now, (at least for me)
It's real, but it's a fan film that's been in limbo since the 1980s. Essentially, Toho filmmakers purchased materials from Toho to do their own production and went as far to make a replica of the 1962 Godzilla suit. (Later modified with a 1964 head.) It's still in post-production.
You can watch some of the footage here: Legendary Giant Beast Wolfman vs. Godzilla.
I would call fake too, but as I investigated, I found images of what seemed to their battle. There's also a staff member off to the right.

hmmm. That’s weird because I watched KOTM and GvK on like April 28 or something and they removed it that quickly? Shame on them.
Yeah, I'll probably just do the entire Kiyru saga just for continuity's sake...
They removed them on May 1st
No, but they're returning in either August or September....
SarcasticGoji,
Maybe, but there's certainly a precedent for it. That's practically what the Criterion Collection is based on. (And there's a reason they only wanted the Showa Era.) But to not classify GMK as important seems odd since it was the most successful and talked about Millennium film. And watching Godzilla x MechaGodzilla without Tokyo SOS is odd. Frankly at that point, just watch all of them.
Oh thats weird. If anybody made a Godzilla knock off, I’m sure. It would have been flagged by Toho, WB, or legendary.
I thought they still are?
@SaquashaDash, oh i get it now
Yes, some of these new fans are mocking the older movies and other fans (I do have a problem with that), however stooping to their level and bashing them won't solve anything, it will only make the situation worse.
Just the ones that are more talked about....
And I have the summer...
But I'm not doing this until KOTM and GVK return to HBO Max...
