CHAPTER 7
This chapter will be told from various perspectives.
Zilla rolled onto his side. He was still sleeping but he was half awake. It was 8 million years later and Zilla, Xilla, and the egg were now enormous. They were 83 feet tall, 172 feet long, and 41 tons. The egg was the size of a T. Rex. Zilla felt hungry, but he wanted to keep sleeping. His eyes were heavy. Zilla forced them open and tried to stand up. He stumbled and nearly fell. He tried again and stood up fully. Zilla stretched from his head to his tail. He yawned loudly, waking up Xilla. Xilla stood up and yawned also. The egg was still next to them so Xilla picked it up with her mouth. She passed it to Zilla to put it in between one of her dorsal plates. The egg stayed and both of them went over to the large door, although not as large as before. They were starting to grow more slowly than they did when they were smaller. Before, they doubled in size in two months. Now they doubled in size in 8 million years. The door started sliding open and light flooded in. As soon as they stopped out of the chamber, a tapping noise came out from the egg.
Zilla picked the egg off of Xilla and set it on the ground. The egg started shaking and a crack appeared on the side. The egg was blue, unlike Zilla or Xilla’s eggs. A head poked out of the egg. His head was a really dark gray with dark orange eyes. The bottom half of his head was light gray. The rest of his body soon followed, continuing the same scheme. His dorsal plates were a dull and dark turquoise and they were more distributed than his parents’. His back was more curved upward. He looked up at Zilla with his dark eyes. He found this behavior unsettling, like he was analyzing him. This is Zilla Junior.
Zilla looked at his son in amazement. He had never seen anything like this. But Xilla had.
Xilla said, “Back where I lived, one very old and very big elder, bigger than you and me could ever imagine, told me a very rare type of our species that looks like that. I haven’t seen one, but they have.”
Zilla acknowledged that and looked down toward his son. He felt good, knowing that his son was rare. Zilla Junior looked up at his parents with his orange eyes. There was something unsettling about them. Zilla told Xilla to stay here while he gets some food for them.
Zilla walked for some time, following a scent, but he didn’t seem to reach the source of it. While Zilla was jogging, towering over the trees, he heard something behind him. He turned to see a juvenile Warbat speeding towards him. Zilla didn’t have any time to think as the Warbat slammed into his body and threw him into a valley. His dorsal plates dug deep into the ground Both sides of the valley were tall and thin, preventing Zilla from getting up using his arms. He pushed himself hard and used all of his core strength to get up but he could not. The Warbat was rushing towards him but Zilla saw this coming and kicked it away. The Warbat recovered quickly and came from the other side. It picked Zilla up by the neck using its tail and pulled him out of the valley. It dropped him on his back and as soon as Zilla got up on his feet, the Warbat started curling its body around him, suffocating him. Zilla roared in anger but the Warbat did not let go. The Warbat but its wing over Zilla’s head, preventing him from breathing. But Zilla refused to submit. He needed to be there for Xilla, for his son. He needed to protect them. But Zilla couldn’t break free. As he saw his vision turn cloudy around the edges he yelled one last cry. Zilla’s eyelids drifted down.
Xilla’s head snapped up. She picked up Zilla Jr. and started running as fast as she could toward the sound of the call. Xilla put Zilla Jr. down and he started running along with her. He had no idea what was going on but he looked at Xilla’s body language and the tone of her eyes and realized that she was distressed. Zilla Jr. was very overdeveloped having spent 8 million years inside that egg hibernating. When they made their way into a clearing and saw Zilla stuck within the Warbat’s grip. Xilla roared as loud as she could to try and see if Zilla was okay. She got a weak grunt in response. Xilla tried to get the Warbat off of him but when she touched the wings her hands felt weird. She remembered that there was something like this on her planet which made her feel like this. Xilla remembered that the elders told her about how it kills them. Xilla shook the liquid off her hands immediately but she realized the whole body was covered in this substance so she couldn’t touch it. Zilla groaned again and Xilla thought all hope was lost when she heard something behind her.
Zilla Jr. felt something inside of him. Something hot. Something radioactive. Something… atomic. Zilla Jr. pushed that something up higher and higher. Lights lit up on his dorsal plates starting from his tail and progressing up to his back. A low rumble sounded. Then another. Then another. The rumbles got higher in pitch and closer together as Zilla Jr. opened his mouth and let it out. A bright green stream of energy bust out of his mouth and his dorsal plates glowed bright turquoise. The beam hit the Warbat in the head and ZIlla Jr. aimed it down to cut the giant serpent in half, and it worked. Fluids rushed down and came into contact with Zilla Jr.’s feet and he felt good. Zilla Jr. smiled maliciously. He felt that he had all of the energy in the world. The two top halves of the serpent fell to the floor but most of its body was still coiled around Zilla. Xilla rushed toward Zilla, taking the body off Zilla. All of the poison had been burned off. Once the Warbat was off Zilla, Zilla Jr. noticed that he was unconscious, one of his arms were dislocated, the other one broken. All of Zilla’s ribs were cracked, many of them broken, but he was still alive, though his heartbeat was slowly deteriorating.
Zilla Jr. was sad that he was going to lose his dad so close after meeting him, but then he had an idea. Zilla Jr. charged up his atomic breath again and fired it at Zilla’s big dorsal plate. His dorsal plates began to light up blue. After a few consecutive seconds of firing, Zilla’s eyes burst open and his eyes glowed blue. Zilla Jr. stopped firing and let his father stand up. He tried but he fell down. He tried again and again and finally he was able to stand up. After he stood up, Zilla asked how they got him out.
“He shot something out of his mouth,” Xilla said, motioning to Zilla Jr. “That was one of the abilities that the elders told me about, but I never realized that it would come this soon after hatching.”
“Well, it does.”
“The elders told me that they used it against the enemies where we lived. I have never seen the enemies but the elders told me to never go where the clouds looked different. I’ll tell you later now let’s go somewhere safe.”
“What about that thing?”
“What about it?”
“Wasn’t that supposed to be for food?”
“We can find more food. Now let’s go.”
They left the area and found a cave to sit in. Zilla was tired and hungry so Xilla went out to get food for him. Zilla Jr. stayed in the cave to protect Zilla. Xilla came back after a few hours with something in her mouth. It was a medium sized lizard with a long, white head. It had only two legs and it had huge chunks missing from it.
“I already ate so it’s all yours.” Xilla said.
“Thanks! How did you kill it?”
“I snuck up on it and stomped it to death.”
“Nice.”
Zilla ate a lot and Zilla Jr. ate some too. They all went to sleep and woke up the next morning to find that Zilla Jr. was already half their size.
“Um, was he supposed to grow that big overnight?” Zilla asked.
“Yes.”
Their talking woke Zilla Jr and he said his first sounds. He yawned loudly and made a noise, sort of like he was calling to his father. Still half asleep, he walked over to Zilla, and snuggled with him. Zilla Jr. knew that his parents wouldn’t let anything happen to him. Xilla came and lied down next to Zilla Jr. They soon got up and walked out of the cave. They finished the rest of the skull crawler. Zilla Jr. walked into the light and stretched his body. Some cracks sounded but nothing too serious. He roared as loud as he could to signify his presence. Hundreds of birds flew up from the trees in fright.
“Wow. He’s a sight to behold,” Zilla remarked.
“That’s why the elders helped them in battle. Because they are an evolved version of us.” Xilla said.
“Oh wait, about what whole ‘enemies’ thing, what are they?”
“The elders said they could create rain,” she said.
“What else?” Zilla asked.
“Theysaidtheyhadthreelongheads! Now can we go and teach him how to hunt?” She replied.
Zilla Jr. was looking at them with confusion. He then said he was hungry.
“How are you hungry? We just ate.” Zilla said.
“I guess he needs more food than us, growing and all.” Xilla said.
They taught Zilla Jr. how to hunt and Zilla Jr. used his atomic ray to decimate his opponents. Zilla and Xilla then joined their tails at the tips and told Zilla Jr. to fire at them. He obliged and hit their tails with the green beam. A blue light started spreading up their tails and when it reached their head, they opened their mouths and exhaled a bright bluish green flame. The two flames cut through the trees and set them on fire immediately. After they were finished, both of the adults felt tired.
“Ugh, that felt really weird,” Xilla said.
“Yup, that happens.”
“I’m not tired. I’m still hungry,” Zilla Jr. said.
“That’s ok, we’ll go back to the cave and you go get some food back for us, ok?” She said.
“Ok!”
Zilla Jr. walked for some time but could not find anything. He was about to give up and go back to the cave but something stopped him. He felt… anxious. He had never felt this feeling before so he didn’t know what to do.
Xilla was sitting in the cave, regaining her energy when she started feeling anxious. She was about to tell Zilla but the look on his face said it all. Something was about to happen.

Pretty creepy too.
Honestly, as much as I enjoy Shin Godzilla, rewatching this scene kind of annoys me, mainly because they won't be doing anything with this concept. Knowing that they won't be making a sequel, this scene now comes off as a pointless cliffhanger that's just there for shock value. The Godzilloids (that's what I like to call them) could have been an interesting concept, but now their existence has no meaning...
This sculpture is pretty cool though.

A Cafe near me that Sadly Closed about 5 Years ago had a Pinball Machine from the 50's, 1958 i think it was. Sadly the owner was in ILL HEALTH and the Cafe that had been in Generations since the late 60's had closed and became a Peddle Bike/Cycling Shop ;(
I miss having ONE of the BEST Full English Breakfasts around ;(
But whats DONE is DONE....
The Problem NOW is that we have Painted ourselves into a Corner...
You would think that David would USE the Colonist to MASS PRODUCE the Xenomorph, but then he has to FIND a way to Deploy them.... The Covenant would be EASY PICKINGS for a Engineer Ship or Human Military. There would be LITTLE Reason to go to Origae-6 he would be better off going to LV-223 and to take some Humans with him... then USE that Ship to go somewhere to Conduct his Experiments.
The Problem is that some Fans would NOT want to see a Emphasis again on David, and you would NEED to see some Humans and also they would NOT want to see David have anything more to do with the Xenomorph, and Reveal that NOPE he could NOT have Created it.
What LITTLE we know about the Sequel was that it would NOT be about Xenomorphs it would be about WHERE it is that David goes NEXT and WHAT KIND of WORLD he would Create.... Daniels had asked to who she THOUGHT was Walter about WHAT KIND OF WORLD can they Build.... he said "if we are KIND it will be a KIND World" and so i DONT think we are on a Path where David is purely going to Create Horrors... but Creation is the THEME.
I suspect it will Follow the THEME of Creation, and David had showed he can PERFECT the Horror the Engineers had attempted on LV-223 and i SUSPECT that NOW that David wants to Create his LAMBS and will EVOLVE the Embryos into a NEW Humanoid Species.
But i dont think we will EVER find out what was NEXT.
There was to be 3/4 Incoming Players/Parties with the Engineers the ONLY one he had Confirmed... i would say they are ONE and i would say THREE/FOUR have to be Similar and so that would be HUMANS... and NUMBER TWO? Maybe that would be the Civilization that David would ATTEMPT to Create?
I think with the aftermath of Prometheus it seemed that FOX had Considered that maybe to make the Emphasis of the Prequels to NOT be about Xenomorphs or Ultimately give us the EVENTS that led to the Derelict on LV-426 was maybe a MISTAKE!
But some Fans were Perfectly Fine that we NEVER had those Answered in Prometheus and i am sure some were Looking Forwards to what does David do when he is FREE and WHAT KIND of beings they Discover and WILL we see Dr Shaw get her Answers?
The Problem that FOX had was how does Dr Shaw be able to Communicate with these Engineers or whoever, what HAPPENS to HER would depend on HOW they would React to her and David turning up, and well some Fans could NOT connect with a Android and some Fans could NOT connect with Dr Shaws Character and then its a case of are they ENOUGH and would they Connect with Engineers?
So you NEED more Humans, and also if they was going to Introduce the Xenomorph and eventually get to ALIEN then thats WHY making the PLOT and Location of Planet 4 be somewhere CLOSE was just Convenient. But this came at the SACRIFICE of what some Prometheus Fans would EXPECT with a Sequel, while Alien Covenant also DID-NOT please the Fans of the BEAST... the Xenomorph as the Emphasis was on David and having him as Creator was WELL..... lets say SACRILEGIOUS to the Fandom in General.
But IF they had some Decent Writers and BALLS! they could have Pulled something off that would have WORKED! We could have had a SPIN-OFF thats SET FAR FAR AWAY!
I have Pitched this Idea a few times, it is what my Prometheus 3 idea would have been about (My Prometheus 2 was set on Earth).
so PARADISE is basically the Cradle of Creation its where MANKIND was Created, its also Considered a Place that ONLY the Worthy, Loyal and Honorable are Permitted to stay.... Hence WHY our Ancestors Adam and Eve were KICKED OUT of PARADISE.
So you have this WORLD that is what 10'000, 20'000 maybe up to 50'000 Light Years from Earth. There is NO-WAY that Humans with our Technology would have Ventured to this PLACE by the Time we even FINISHED with ALIENS.
This WORLD has a CITY thats Basically the same as in Alien Covenant, with a Central Temple and a Courtyard with Hangers etc. We may see a LITTLE more of the Prometheus Aesthetic but it should NOT be too much Different to Planet 4. Beyond this Central Point of the City are Smaller Areas each with a Smaller Central Building, and the ENTIRE group of Towns/Villages that Connect to a CENTRAL CITY are Surrounded by some kind of WALL.
Who LIVES on this World?
We have Engineers and they could be more like the Planet 4 kind just Taller and more Pale Skinned.... This is the World that they DWELL and where they would KEEP/TAKE various Species that they have Created and are Pleased with but ONLY in Small Numbers...
Among these are HUMANS... you can have it that Humans are Seeded in more Worlds than Earth, but the Humans on Earth had became Unworthy of the Engineers attention and Knowledge and after a FAILED attempt to Destroy us, they had Abandoned the LV-223 Outpost, they had Abandoned Earth, leaving us to ROT and Destroy Ourselves!
These Engineers being so Naive that they THOUGHT without the HELP of their Knowledge then Worlds they Seed/Visit will REMAIN at the TECHNOLOGY LEVEL that they allowed (Level we are at 2000+ Years ago) and so they ASSUMED that on our OWN we would NEVER be able to Master Space Travel and are NO THREAT!
HOW DOES.... Dr Shaw speak with these beings?
EASY... During a Period of where Dr Shaw is BUILDING UP some Trust with David before she Re-attaches him, he could TEACH her a LITTLE of the Engineers Language.
But DAVID would be doing MOST of the Talking, but you then have ONE of the Elders go up to Dr Shaw and Place his Hands on her Head and be able to some how READ her Mind/Soul and see she is GOOD OF HEART... the Engineer is able to Speak with her Mind and Read it.... and he then is able to IMPLANT the Knowledge of their Language to her.
FROM this Point you dont NEED any Subtitles, we hear Dr Shaw and the Engineers and other Humans etc all Speak English just for our Convenience.
The ELDER attempts to Read David but he CANT... he then Discovers what David is and is Concerned as he NOT ONLY cant Read his Mind/Intentions but also KNOWS of the RISK of Sub-Creating a Superior Form or Service Race as THEY had done that with the LV-223 Engineers, but some of them BEGAN to see themselves as Superior to the ELDERS and their Creations... these LV-223 Engineers were Tasked with Certain Tasks, they was also GIVEN the TASK of Taking the Black Goo to RESET WORLDS.... but those on LV-223 had decided to CREATE something with it instead... they INTENDED to USE this Horror to RULE the Galaxy but they was STOPPED and they had 3 Ships they had intended to USE to Begin their Conquest, ONE had been Destroyed... ONE had made it to a World and Afflicted Horrors on it, this World is Abandoned and the FINAL SHIP had Crashed Near the PLACE they had Created such a thing.
Dr Shaw informs them of LV-223 and they said the PLACE should be Secure as they left some Guardians on that Moon... and they have since Abandoned that Outpost but use others for Genetically Evolving Species but they decided to NO-LONGER do this. And they just take down Chosen Humanoids to NEW Worlds to Begin Colonization instead of Sacrificing them for their DNA to Evolve Worlds, they FELT they had Achieved as GOOD a Perfection with their Creations and that those they had Created more PERFECT proved to be Problematic.
We get to a Point that the Elders find out about David and what he had done, and DECIDE that he is to be Imprisoned while they Decide what to do, they have a MEETING and Decide to Destroy him.
One of the ELDERS goes to him and says he sees PERFECTION in David and that he had Engineered the LV-223 Engineers but his BROTHERS had decided to UNDO them apart from a Few Loyal Super Engineers..... this Elder thinks the Council has Gone Soft.... and he Frees David, and David asks about the HORROR that they Created on LV-223 the Elder says he can SHOW HOW they achieved this but ONLY if David would RID the World of those Weak/Feeble Engineers. This Elder says he was Youngest of the Council he had a TWIN who they had Punished for using the Creation Tool in a way they Council had NOT Sanctioned. He says the Elders had been on the Verge of Immortality at a COST and they Turned their Back on it..... and that HE could NOT go and KILL the LEADER... but if their Council was DESTROYED at the Hands of David then this Younger Elder would RULE and then he would SHOW to David as to HOW they can Rebuild a Superior Engineer Species.
A Group of Engineers take David away, and David goes to get Dr Shaw, we have a Fight Break Out.... Dr Shaw refuses to go with David so he Kidnaps her and makes his way to the Juggernaught and Unleashes Hell on the World.
They meet up with another Ship that has the Renegade Engineers and the Young Elder informs David about in order to Create the Horror they NEED a Human Female but David is NOT so keen to Sacrifice Dr Shaw.
There is more to it than this but this is kind of the NUTS/BOLTS we see Horrors Unleashed on Paradise, the Sequel we would see David go to a Place with the Renegade Engineers, but he Double Crosses them... begins to Create his OWN Horrors... Sparing Dr Shaw and saying with her he can Create a New Humanity that are Superior... but she Rejects, and she is KILLED he attempts to Create a New Horror but it has Problems... but he knows he is CLOSE. He takes his Ship to ONE of the Worlds the Engineers have Humans and David wishes to Destroy them and Subject/Use them to Create his OWN kind of Humanoid. Another Engineer Ship arrives to what is LEFT of Paradise, and Discovers a few Survivors, they Leave to Find where David and the Renegades have gone, they are Sworn to Destroy him and the Renegades and Prevent them from Destroying all they had Created, One Elder asks what about the other THREAT?
EARTH, they say they will DEAL with Earth Once they have Ridden the Scourge that is David and the Renegade Engineers and their Horrors.
We would see David go and Create something SIMILAR to the Xenomorph and by seeing HOW we would get CLUES to HOW the Original came to be. Now there was about 3 Variants of this kind of Idea that Differ to Degree... but it SHOWS you can go FAR FAR AWAY from Earth, and have HUMANS and get Past the Language Barrier.
@Die-hard Spino Fan that could be true, I think the 6 inch warbat toy description says they are venom winged, according to the box at least.
I just realized the reptile isn't even a dinosaur like Godzilla, it's just a mutated gila monster.
Imagine paying a ticket to watch this in theaters. It also sucks how a really cool reptile design gets treated like this. The real monsters are Asylum, not the giant animals.

Rampage (2018)
Yonggary/Reptilian (1999)
and Konga (1961)
Also the movie shamelessly uses both the 1954 and 2014 Godzilla roars in it, and apparently Asylum even tried to claim that Toho was involved with this film. (These guys have no shame)
The chest beam was in the manga version of the movie.

What I understand, and I'll dumb it down, is this: Monkey crash from space, and space rocket leak liquid. As rocket crash, liquid lands on random lizard on earth. Liquid mutates monkey and lizard to big sizes. Monkey and lizard meet and fight.

The storyline is weirder then the constructions of the pyramids. Here it is
"An ape, lost in space, crash-lands back to Earth. The vessel oozes a sludge that triggers massive growth in both the ape, as well as a passing Gila monster. Once the creatures reach titanic size, their paths cross again, leading to a giant brawl in which Mankind hangs in the balance."
