SasquaDashGodzilla ForumWho do you think is the best and worst human character in the MonsterVerse

HinikunaGoji

Yeah, I agree, while Ford isn't the most amazing character, I don't think he deserves the hate. I've seen some reviews that label him as nothing more than a "bland chunk of wood" and I don't think that's really fair. There is a lot of depth to his character, unfortunately most people overlook this due to Aaron Taylor Johnson's performance. I definitely like him better than some other Godzilla protagonists, especially compared to some of the Reiwa series characters.

I don’t think Ford deserves that much hate, he’s better than most recent characters we’ve seen.

I think that writing wise, Ford is a pretty good character, the novelization goes more into he personal thoughts and motivations, mainly the guilt of not believing his father and his goal of not only keeping the rest of his family safe, but also keeping other families from being torn apart by the MUTOs (Which is why he saves the kid on the monorail and tries to reunite him with his parents). The fact that he joins the mission to retrieve the warhead in the city, despite knowing that he might not make it back, shows that he's willing to sacrifice himself in order to keep his family and others safe.

The problem with his character comes from Aaron-Taylor Johnson's portrayal. Johnson tries to make Ford a more reserved character, who deals with trauma by suppressing his emotions, trying to give him a no nonsense attitude (which makes a lot of sense, given what the character goes through), Unfortunately it ends up taking away the audience's ability to sympathize with him and instead makes him feel uninteresting and bland.

Overall, I think Ford's a character that has some great ideas, but not the greatest execution.

Ok but he should've been played by anyone but Aaron-Taylor Johnson.  His acting was far better in Avengers and Tenet.

That pretty much sums it up.

Also ya forgot Madison but it's understandable since GVK ruined her...

I think ford deserves more credit than he’s due.  The army probably taught him to repress emotions.

And then we ended up with Ford.

What makes the family drama worse is the fact that 2/3 actors (Kyle and Vera being that 2) are trying way too hard which makes it worse...

Best Human Characters: Ishiro Serizawa, Hank Marlow, Preston Packard, Joe Brody, Jia and Bill Randa.

Weakest Human Characters: Sam Coleman, Rick Stanton, Josh Valentine and Victor Nieves.

it works better in the book yes, but in the movie her arc is dependent on the somewhat forced family drama. Joe Brody set up an interesting plot about loss which could have worked, shame they got rid of him so quickly

Yeah and Madison's was (partially) explored in the story but the GVK novelization showed some things that REALLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN incorporated.

I will Madison did bring a good amount of drama and tension but I don't think it was the writing, it was how Millie portrayed the character...

Ok for me I'll just do each movie...

- Godzilla 2014: Best character is Ishiro Seriwaza ("Let them fight.") and the worst is Ford Brody...

- Kong: Skull Island's best was Marlow and the worst was probably....the Brie Larson character because the actress herself I dislike.

- Godzilla: King of The Monsters' best human character was Seriwaza and I gotta give an honorable mention to Madison Russell, who was a very close 2nd (also Millie Bobby Brown is great in everything she does...in acting that is.)  My least favorite was anyone who was there to add comedy.  'Nuff said.

- Godzilla Vs. Kong's least mediocre character was Jia, and the lamest characters were Josh and Bernie.

Those are my thoughts, feel free to argue with me if you wish.

XenotarisAlien Movies Forum"Aliens" , the worst "Alien movie" ever

I felt that ALIENS was the next logical step to the alien series, but MAYBE I liked ALIENS because I grew up in a military family. I liked ALIENS because the marines for all their gloating and brovado quickly went out the window when they were attacked by the xenomorphs. Without ALIENS, I feel that ALIEN would have been forgotten since ALIENS with the help of ALIEN influenced the sci-fi genre as a whole, I dare to say that ALIEN and ALIENS was more influential to sci-fi then either STAR WARS and STAR TREK

AVP 2004 was just a horrible abomination that added nothing to the alien series and just reused concepts already explored in other mediums of the franchise.

CHAPTER 20: THE BROOD WAR

The alarms begin blaring as the security systems are tripped. Chaolan power walks to the security vids, a swarm of drones and warriors were clawing at the zoological wing. Among the ridged head warriors and smooth head drones was a pack wide head xenomorphs with glowing sacks of acid adorning the sides of their heads, the spitters began vomiting up concentrated acid on the walls. The drones and warriors pry the weakened metal away as they burrow through the barrier. The animal-spawned xenomorphs greet their human-born relatives.

Kadinsky watches from his labs as the xenomorphs reunite with their trapped sisters, he glances over at a red handle switch. “Fuck!” Kadinsky pulls the lever switch down. The fluid in the K-series tanks begins to drain as the golden xenomorphs awaken from their suspended states. The glass barriers are removed from the K-series xenomorphs. The golden xenomorphs sneered as they approached Kadinsky. The scientists remained perfectly still as they K-series surrounded their creator before turning their attention to the exit. Kadinsky smiles with a sense of accomplishment.

Genji stared at the videos, he glanced at the junior members of his squad, “Rizal, close the north gate” he ordered the filipino girl. The north gate doors close behind a pack of warriors, spitters, and a lone praetorian. The praetorian hisses angrily.

Setsunde and Youma both nod and cloak as the two yautja sisters go their separate ways. The K-series xenomorphs join up with the others of their kind as they mobilize towards the zoological wing. The surveillance cameras send video feeds to Kadinsky’s lab, Chaolan’s lab, and the security control room where the Wraiths reside. Genji and Nikita smile as the K-series are now on the move.

Setsunde smashes her fist into the door control unit, the electronic door failsafe kicks in allowing the electronic door to open. She navigates through the K-wing stairway before spotting a pack of K-series xenomorphs. They were accompanying some of the oomens like obedient pets, Setsunde slowly approached the group. Wondering why the kainde amedha had not attacked yet, one of the K-series turned its gaze towards Setsunde. Setsunde prepared herself as the golden kainde amedha approached her, then it stopped. The creature just stared at the cloaked hunter. Was it aware of her presence or was it just dumb? Then the others began approaching her, they too just sat there staring at her. The oomens looked over to see their creations were acting strangely.

“Oi! Whot ya doin’ over there?” one of the technicians demanded.

Setsunde attempts to walk past the golden kainde amedha but they mirror her movements, frustrated she deploys her combi-stick, she thrashes into the K-series with the bladed end. Their carapace comes apart like a hot knife through butter, their blood sizzles on the floor and walls. Her biomask’s eye ports flash yellow as she approaches the oomens, the oomens scream as they flee further down the corridors. She would pursue the oomens however her code forbids her to harm prey that can’t fight back, Setsunde growls in frustration. She quickly runs down the corridor ignoring all the cowering oomens. She spots several kainde amedha leaving a large door, moving in a double uniformed line. It reminded Setsunde of the organized formations of oomen warriors.

As the strange kainde amedha were no longer in her viewing range, Setsunde slowly approached the door they had departed from.

She peeked in seeing an oomen releasing the kainde amedha. More K-series step out of their pods to “greet” their creator.

“This ooman controls the kainde amedha?” Setsunde clicked her mandibles in confusion. Something about this oomen was familiar to Setsunde. She switches to her heat vision, she then scans his face.

She quickly switches to x-ray vision, she notices this ooman’s injuries match up to the one she inflicted on an ooman many decades ago; on this very planet. A missing rib, an artificial hip, and shoulder blade. She retracts her combi-stick, she deploys her wrist blades as she approaches this ooman.

The K-series xenomorphs finally arrived at the zoological wing, the golden armoured xenomorphs quickly overwhelmed the gun metal colored pure strain xenomorphs. The pure-strain xenomorphs decimate the man-made ones. The K-series limbs were ripped out of their sockets, their jaws pulled from their hinges before being gutted. “My children!” Kadinsky screams at the surveillance vids. His Xenoborg guards sense Setsunde’s approach, they quickly engage the hidden enemy in the room. Setsunde was taken aback at the cybernetic abominations. Their eye tracker beam locks on to the yautja, the xenoborgs begin to open fire as the hunter dashes before a computer console.

“Doctor Kadinsky, you must depart from this facility, at once'' One of Kadinsky’s scientists demanded.

“My children,” Kadinsky repeated.

“Your children’s death will be in vain if you don’t evacuate immediately sir”

Kadinsky nods as he and the rest of his science team quickly retreat into the panic room. Kadinsky smashes the emergency blast door button behind himself and his team. He nods to his scientists as he pulls open the escape hatch lever.

Setsunde leaps from the computer terminal, she dashes for the panic room door as she fires a barrage of plasma from her shoulder mounted plasma castor at the xenoborgs. One of the xenoborgs is reduced to a shower of acid, chunks of carapace and metal. The other xenoborg dodges the incoming plasma as it ducks for cover. Setsunde redirects her plasma castor to the panic room door. Pshhhrooook! The panic room door bursts open.

The second xenoborg guard leaps from its hiding place, its face mounted laser targets the yautja huntress. Setsunde’s plasma castor spins back around to the xenoborg. The xenoborg begins warming up its railgun, Pshhhrooook! The xenoborg is blown to bits.

The wraiths monitored the security footage, “Plan B,” Genji uttered out loud. He glances at the monitor of the escape tunnel where Kadinsky and his science team were being held. He glanced over at the monitor in the K-labs; two xenoborg units were destroyed. He glanced at the above monitor where a tall muscular humanoid creature was slowly making its way into the escape tunnel.

“Predators” he gritted his teeth. “Balgoyavitch and Rizal” he exchanged a sideways glance at the two “lost souls”. “Activate your personal cloaks, make sure Kadinsky and his team get to the emergency shuttle bay. Should anything happened, at least recover the K-series data”

“Sir, yes sir” the two spoke in unison.

“Kazama, Rocheford, and White” he turned his gaze to the three other “lost souls”, “Take to the roof and eliminate the UPP,” he ordered.

“Sir, yes sir” the three spoke in unison.

The two groups of lost souls left the two senior waiths in the control room.  Genji and Nikita stared at the monitors, “Commander, Dr. Lee Chaolan can not be trusted”

“Why not, Lieutenant? His record is clean, he served the company faithfully his entire life. What makes you suspect him of being a traitor?”

“I gathered some vital intel from my time out on the frontier, the H-series he described is a cover for its true purpose” Nikita explained.

“Is this intel reliable? What's the true purpose of the H-series?” Genji asked, curious.

“To create himself a loyal army of xenos, that serve only him. He will use this project to spread chaos throughout the systems” Nikita stared at her commander with a serious look in her eyes.

“Then we must stop him at once,” Genji reminded his subordinate.

Rizal and Balgoyavitch race down the corridors following their cybernetic grafted neural interface nav points. A loud hiss could be heard around the bend. A lone pure-strain drone was in the middle of its molting process, the back of its carapace had already split open as its armoured dorsal tubes pushed out of the older thin carapace. “It's molting,” Balgoyavitch stated the obvious.

“Come on” Rizal tugged at his arm. The drone weakly raised its head, its smooth domed cranium began to crack. The surface around the broken areas began to slide in opposite directions as the cracks grew into a division. Sharp protrusions adorned its new cranium as the old smooth dome fell to the floor. The xenomorph warrior struggled to free itself from its old drone carapace.

Meanwhile, Kazama, White, and Rocheford exit the rooftop door. They peer over the complex down at the courtyard, the UPP soldiers had mysteriously vanished. Leaving behind only blood, their weapons, and a few dead xenos. The sound of a gun clicking alerted the “lost souls”, a lone UPP soldier covered in blood aimed his AK-97 at the three operatives. White and Rocheford aimed their railguns at the man while Kazama drew her sword.

“You UA bastards! You shall pay for what you've done today!” The UPP soldier slowly approaches the group. The group hesitates to kill the soldier, “This is for Nicolai, Dimitri, Yuri, and Vladimir!” he attempts to fire his weapon, click! “Shiit,” he curses as his gun jams. Asuka Kazama dashes towards the man, she pulls out her ancestor’s sword only to hesitate once she gets in cutting range. The UPP soldier drops his gun, he pulls out a vial of powder. He blows the fine powder into Kazma’s face, she drops her sword as she attempts to rub the burning powder from her eyes. The UPP soldier punches her in the stomach before grabbing her by the wrist, spinning the young woman around taking her as his hostage.

“White, shoot him!” Rocheford demands.

“I can’t, Kazama is in the way,” White retorts.

He slowly starts stepping backwards towards the ledge, “You shoot me, your little asian thot dies with me” White and Rocheford lowered their weapons, “Yes. YES, that is more like it” the back of his feet reach the ledge. White and Rocheford raise their weapons at the soldier, “Idiots, you focking idiots!” He notices their guns weren’t aiming at him, “what are you aiming at…” he is suddenly silenced.

Blood splats on Asuka’s face, she sideways glanced at her capturer, a block rod was now in place of the soldier’s head. The rod retracts, pulling the man’s body into the air. His lifeless hands released Asuka from his grasp as the rest of him entered a massive creature’s mouth. It was a xenomorph, however it was drastically different then the ones she had encountered thus far. Its head was a dark bronze while the rest of it was dark greyish black, its jaws were elongated compared to the common human-spawn variety and sported two large yautja-like supper mandibles. The rest of its body was vaguely snake-like, its upper ribs were stretched into a cobra-like hood with tiny jointed claws. The snakealien began to slither towards Kazama and her comrades.

White quickly neutralizes the large xeno with his railgun, the snakealien falls off the roof dead. The xenomorphs on the ground quickly turn their heads up at the rooftops. The usual human-spawn xenos darted towards the building walls followed by canine-spawned runners and feline-spawned stalkers. Asuka rolls over to grab her sword, she slices away at two encroaching runners. They fall into the swarm of angry xenos below.

White and Rocheford both grab Asuka Kazama as a drone climbs over the ledge. The three lost souls quickly retreated behind the sliding mechanical door. Rocheford locks the door, the drone peers through the window. Drool drips from its mouth as it peels back its thin lips, its head shakes as it opens its jaws. Its secondary jaws rapidly extend out to smash the glass window. Kazma, Rocheford, and White retreat down the corridor as the xenomorphs attempt to pass through the door.

It's looking like Godzilla vs. Kong has finished in Japan after 9 weeks. The film is no longer being tracked and early estimates keep the film at 1.88 Billion Yen ($17.2 Million USD). It likely didn't move enough tickets to change anything. We await final word in the coming weeks, but it's currently only playing in 39 locations and will be losing most of them tomorrow. It seems to have finished with a 1.25 million in attendance.

As of September 1st, it finishes as the 17th highest grossing and most attended film in Japan this year. It is the 2nd highest grossing Hollywood film of they year behind Fast & Furious 9. I will add that just as some Fans will NOT go and Accept that Alien 3 on-wards are Canon as they KILLED OFF... their Ripley.... so those who do-not Accept the Ideas that Cameron had Introduced are WELL within their Rights to NOT go and Consider that as Canon.

ALIEN was the Result of a Evolving Story and Concept.........

Xenomorph/Starbeast had Started as the Remains of a Ancient Alien Race who had some kind of Civilization who had BUILT a Pyramid which they would USE for their Birthing Ritual.

The Space Jockey was merely a Unrelated Organism that Happened to come across the Pyramids and Decided to Explore and well Curiosity Killed the Cat.

The Xenomorph had gone through Various Changes as FAR as its Appearance and it was HR Giger who gave us the FINAL PRODUCT.

The Pyramid had become a Egg Silo and the Mural instead had become something Different, and these had all been Designs by HR Giger, which included the PILOTS SHIP which they all SHARED a Connective Tissue as far as Aesthetically.

The Pilot was Now on the Mural, they Pilot was Implied to being Connected to the Eggs and the Silo from where they was Held/Created.

Had there been more Budget and Time and the Studio was OK with a Extra 10 Min Footage then we would have seen KANE go to the Egg Silo to then Encounter the Eggs.

It would have Left some Questions... but those with Keen Eye would Notice the Aesthetic Connection to the Pilots Ship and the Egg Silo.  You would have been left to Consider...

1) The Pilot Race (Space Jockey) have come Across some Organism and they have Stored them in the Egg Silo, and one of their Race (Space Jockey) gets Infected while either Taking Eggs to his Ship or Vice Versa.

2) The Pilot (Space Jockey) had Engineered the Eggs and then Store them on the Egg Silo, or Engineered the Silo that Creates the Eggs.

3) The Egg Silo, the Ship where Created by some other Race and the Space Jockey are USED to Transport them to Places.

The Mural  (HR Giger) indicated the Space Jockey Race would Self-Sacrifice themselves to Procreate the Organism inside the Eggs.

But this was NEVER USED and the Egg Silo and so it became Part of the SHIP.

The Story had Evolved to make the Eggs a Engineered Bio-Weapon by the Space Jockey Race.... but at ONE POINT... it was to be a Engineered Weapon by the Weyland-Yutani Company.

The Idea of Starbeast had thus Changed... all that Remained was the Organisms Life-Cycle, Acid Blood and a ALIEN World it was Discovered on.

Things could have been Explored Differently (looked into some the Unused Concepts/Story) and LIKELY would have, IF we saw Ridley Scott go to make ALIEN 2.... but ALAS.

Regarding the Technology and Weapons of ALIENS.... i think that YES you would Expect them to USE like MECH SUITS... Remote Controlled A.I or even Synthetics instead of the GRUNTS/MARINES.

But having Humans means you can Build on Characters in Peril to make a Connection with the Audience.... you have to also Consider the Budget and Limitations of the 80's Effects.

To have Marines in District 9 Style Exosuits would require a LOT of Stop Motion like they did with the Queen and also the Power Loader.

You would maybe even Need this if you was to have them send A.I or Remote Control Combat Robots..... CHAPPIE anyone?  (well similar) and these would have been more Drain on Budget and Time, and in the 80's it is NOT that Easy to do (But The Terminators did it).

Yeah some of ALIENS was Goofy but so was the Mercs a bit in Alien Resurrection.  I have said a LOT that if you made more ALIEN Movies with Marines/Grunts vs Armies of Xenomorphs then it would just be another Starship Troopers... which was ok for Popcorn.

I Respect you Admiration for ALIEN... and for me, i Accept the Movie ALIENS.. but i am NOT sure it was the BEST WAY to have taken a ALIEN Sequels.

"Parker is talking about the dying facehugger not the Alien"

That is True, my point was being that if it came from Organic Beginnings and a Organic Host, i dont think it will Gestate to like a Terminator as far as how TOUGH it would be to Damage.  The ACID BLOOD was Essentially a Plot Device that meant the Crew would DARE to NOT go and Shoot it...... which then made the Terror they Faced more Intense because they had NO MEANS to Defend Against it apart from Scare if OFF with Fire.

"They are commercial creations whose creators wanted to cash in on the popularity of Alien"

Well when a Writer comes up with a Story and its SOLD to a Studio and a Director is brought in to BRING the Story to the Screen and has some Vision.... The Story/Franchise belonged to 20th Century Fox and they are within their Rights to make Sequels and Prequels and EVEN if they MESS them up, they can still do so...  The Vision of ALIEN could be more Diluted under DISNEY. (it will become even more POPCORN i Fear).

The Death of Ripley would have MADE sense if they Thought it out.... the Way that RS had Wanted it would have been SILLY if i am Honest, "this is Ellen Ripley, Permission to Dock"   DOOR OPENS and Ha Ha GOT YA... Stupid Humans!

For the Xenomorph to well Essentially Plant a Seed in Ripley then Stick her into Cryo-Sleep so she is Gestating a Xenomorph would have been Better. Also Ridley Scott can Change his Mind/Idea a lot.... he had said the Xenomorph was going away to DIE as it had Accomplish its Objective (Egg Morph).  If its aim is to Procreate then i would think it would have wanted to do the same with Ripley...  But i think the Ending was ok.....

"Scott created the biggest nonsense with the idea that the rest of the alien in spaceship is a spacesuit" The PILOT is something that had GONE through a LOT of Changes....

IF they had Stuck to the Original Idea (Starbeast) then YES we had a SKELETON of a ALIEN SPECIES but it was something that looked NOTHING like the Space Jockey, this came about via HR Giger and his Concepts Clearly had Indicated that is was a Space Suit... but also the Occupants are Bald Humanoids.

But on Screen it was left a Mystery and the Color of the Space Jockey and mainly its Helmet did look like a Skeleton... but the Arms and Snorkel are Clearly None-Skeletal...  only by Bone Color they look Skeletal.

"Scott's a parasite on his own work with Prometheus and Covenant. Money is money"

I think its more so he wanted to Protect his Legacy of ALIEN, as he had LOST the Control over what would become of a Sequel.   He would have known than after they COOK the Beast some more... they Eventually would have to look at the ORIGINS and WHO the Space Jockey are...

I think he would rather have MADE a Prequel than to NOT and then see someone come in and Explain the Origins of the Xenomorph and WHO the Space Jockey are as something that would MAKE him Turn in his Grave...

I'd like to make a few comments.

1) Parker is talking about the dying facehugger not the Alien. He had no idea it would exist at the time. Facehugger is dying. It's merely a cripple between the egg and the Alien. Just like the egg is probably dying.

2) As far as destructibility or reaction to fire in the nonsense that gets labeled as "sequels" it doesn't matter. They have nothing to do with Alien. They are commercial creations whose creators wanted to cash in on the popularity of Alien. That's all. What happens in them is irrelevant.

3). Yes the ending with dead Ripley was what Ridley Scott wanted. And I would have preferred that version. It wouldn't be the nonsense labelled as other episodes. By the way, the sad thing is that Scott created the biggest nonsense with the idea that the rest of the alien in spaceship is a spacesuit. I'd rather not comment on the other storylines of Prometheus and Covenant. I'd be rude. He should never have come back to Alien.

4) The model for indestructibility is A E van Vogt's 1939 short story "Discord in Scarlet". It's from the collection " The Voyage of Space Beegle " but that's not important anymore. The point is not whether he was completely indestructible. But if something doesn't get burned by the flames from the spacecraft's thrusters, it's impossible to shoot it with a rifle that might have trouble taking out a Grizzly.
Btw the alien corpse in the spaceship, it was inspired by the movie Planet of the Vampires.

It's too bad Scott didn't do everything as scripted for lack of money. I mean, the pyramid with the Aliens. With hieroglyphics in it, etc. Just as he should have left out the information that it's a tiny planet that no one would ever want to inhabit. He should also have left the scene where Brett and Dallas' bodies are cocoons. Cameron couldn't make up nonsense about the Queen and make Alien an insect.

But don't get me wrong. If Cameron made a movie that had a similar plot to "Aliens" I wouldn't mind at all. Action scifi ok. Same as Alien vs Predator. What bothers me is the parasitism on the Alien masterpiece. He just saw Alien and knew that younger audiences were bothered that they didn't see combat in Alien. So he thought ok I'll give it to them. And I'll make a “sequel” and make lot of money. And he did. Other directors did, too. Parasites. Sad thing is, Scott's a parasite on his own work with Prometheus and Covenant. Money is money.

I was (from “srauels” ) most amused by Alien vs Predator. It's not playing for a sequel. Director just stole a monster and combined the two monsters in a pretty funny way. It's nonsense but fun. Not anymore AvP2. It's a tragedy.

On the matter of the Alien’s resistance to fire, have we ever seen this for sure? The flame throwers in Alien were never aimed at an Alien. It simply ran off from the fire in Alien 3, although it did briefly survive being dipped in a pool of molten lead. In Aliens, it turned its head away when Ripley’s flame thrower sputtered out a feeble flame as it was running out. We never saw what happened when Vasquez and Drake let rip. No flames dousing the Alien in Resurrection, Prometheus or Covenant as I recall.

We’re overdue a scene where an Alien gets scorched by fire to see how it can really cope with being torched.

HinikunaGoji,
I'm curious about that as well. As far as my laundry list of issues with this movie goes, Kong's characterization is not one of them. If anything I felt it was quite easy to be sympathetic toward Kong since he was taken from his home, drugged, put in dangerous waters against a superior threat, dropped into the freezing cold, nearly suffocated by a flying cobra, had his throne room he had just discovered blown to hell and was beaten within an inch of his life by Godzilla only to have a giant "defibrillator" blow up against his chest for a rude awakening with Mecha-Beats-Me-Within-An-Inch-Of-My-Life. All of which could've been avoided had he not been taken from his island by the so-called "Kong whisperer" who was allegedly looking out for his best interests.

The movie could've easily been titled, Kong Has a Really Bad Day.

I think there can be NO DOUBT that ALIEN was a Masterpiece and AHEAD of its Time.  However for a LOT of Franchises the FIRST Movie is Usually the BEST.

It SETS the Story, it SETS the Framework and LORE.... and sometimes Sequels do-not PLEASE those who liked the Original because they Change things or GO AGAINST what may had been Originally Planned or WHAT it seemed to be about.

But i think we have to LOOK at that Based on the Theatrical Release of the FIRST MOVIE, i dont think that STUFF that was Dropped from the DRAFTS for whatever Reasons should be Considered Canon.... thats UNLESS/UNTIL those working on Future Sequels would Choose to go and EXPLORE the things that NEVER made it to the First Movie.

By Virtue of that then some things ARISE from Sequels.

QUEEN: That was NOT how the Xenomorph Eggs came to be!  However because FOX had the Egg Morph Scene removed from ALIEN then, this left Cameron to then introduce a Queen.

EGG SILO: Yes it was intended to have a Separate Egg Silo but as they had to Merge the SETS to Save Money/Time then what we got was a CARGO HOLD of the Derelict instead (In-Spite of some Size Issues).

I have already mentioned about the Ripley Death Ending.... this was NEVER in the Drafts and was a Idea that RS wanted to ADD.... but the WAY he intended it would have been SILLY.

I think when it comes down to the Xenomorph being Indestructible... i think here is a KEY QUOTE...

Parker : "It's got a great defense mechanism... you don't dare kill it."

Then i have to go to PREDATOR

Ducth: "if it bleeds we can kill it"

Now i will say that when Ridley Scott had Envisioned how he wanted to Execute the ALIEN Drafts....  then YES he did-not intend for the Xenomorph to be as Vulnerable as we saw in ALIENS and ALIEN RESURRECTION.  (Plus the AVP Movies).

Now with ALIEN 3 the Xenomorph was Tough, we saw it could Withstand Extreme Heat/Burns as we saw in ALIEN and also ALIEN COVENANT.  This does-not mean the Organism should be INDESTRUCTIBLE though.

Else we just gonna get a Space Jason Voorhees with a T-800 Inner Skeleton.

IF say we saw RS go and give us a Indestructible Xenomorph where there are Thousands of them via the Eggs, and they can MIMIC a Human Voice, then its HOW do you Continue?

You then have to ASK as to WHERE are the Rest of these Immortal Bio-Mechanical Killing Machines?

I think its BETTER they had some Vulnerabilities and well the LIFE-CYCLE is one such VULNERABILITY.... especially if they do-not LIVE FOREVER...

I dont think having a Xenomorph that would be like a Marvel Super Hero would have been Good.... but i Certainly think they had been made to be Too Easy to KILL with Aliens and AVP.

The Alien Covenant Xenomorph looked like it GOT IT RIGHT.

Ridley Scott had CLAIMED the Dead Xenomorphs would REGENERATE and so that would have been Interesting.... but NOT if its like a T-1000

No Xeno T-800 or T-1000 for me...

But to come up with a Clever.... kind of Regeneration that Merges with Egg Morph would be Ideal.
